    Thank you sir 21:35 I'm confused about why sinB ist not 2 over 5 and cscB 5 over 2. Since we know SOH and here sqr(21) is the adjacent. Great Videos, sir. Thank you 20:10 Where do you know that? I don't get it. In the previous videos, we've learned the six ratios of 0,30,45,60,90 degrees. But here we have angles such as 18,435°. I am confused about how and where you know the values of adjacent and opposite. I understand the Hypothenus because of pythagoras Thank you for the support

    • @StilHOT1970
      @StilHOT1970 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DesignerARC. By experience. tan(theta)=1/3, then theta is 18.435 degrees. I knew this because in friction, coefficients of friction are usually expressed in exact terms. Look at the previous videos. I memorized angles where the tangents are 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, etc adnd their reciprocals.

      @StilHOT1970 Thank you for the fast reply. I went back and watched the video 9.4. Now I understand. I have to memorise the angles in video 9.4 to solve these exercises. Please allow me to ask one more question. 1. Why have you chosen this angles. Are those the more used one or common used. To memorise them time and practice is needed. Is there any relation between them so that the can be derive. Since the task are without a calculator Thank you very much for the support

      @@DesignerARC Purely memorize them. For example, tanA=0.2, A=11.31 degrees. tanB=1/0.2=5, B=78.69 degrees. (90 deg minus 11.31 deg).

      @StilHOT1970 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @docmemphis2760 Mc right has moment while Mc left for this compound beam is always zero. That is the reason why Mc right is considered for somputing the maximum value.

    • @StilHOT1970
      @StilHOT1970 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@docmemphis2760 The IL for Mc is shown. It means that when the load moves, from points A to C, Mc is zero. Mc has a value only when the load moves from C to E. I have to correct you, moment at a point has only ONE VALUE (just to the left and just to the right of a point) unless there is a couple load at that point. Look at moment diagrams in all beams and frames. Moment values are the same just to the left and just to the right of a POINT unless a couple load is present. Another function that changes just to the left and to the right of point is SHEAR. That is why the shear just to the left and just to the right of a point changes abruptly. Sorry that I need to remove your comment on insisting that there is also moment to the left of point C. It might confuse my other viewers and subscribers. If you want more, watch my other challenging construction of ILs.

    • @StilHOT1970
      @StilHOT1970 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you insist that there is moment at the left of point C, what is that? IL for moment at a POINT means moment just to the left and just to the right of that point and there is no question about it. You might also question IL for RE. Look at its IL.

      Statics ang principle . If you find it hard, it is your problem. Review statics. Engineering courses are based on analysis not on steps and memorization. Start with the principles and the first part of ILs for girders not to this problem immediately. Secondly, equations are explained and part of the step by step solutions and explanations are the tabu;ations. Or look for other vloggers if there are who attempted to discuss ILs for girders.

    Thank you so much! can you please explain why velocity head is negligible at A and B?

    • @StilHOT1970
      @StilHOT1970 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You must know beforehand that the velocity heads at the surfaces of large reservoirs are zeros. Observe the surfaces of reservoirs for 10 seconds. The water surfaces or liquid surfaces do not appreciably alter for 10 seconds. Or you may assign a value say 1 mm/s (this is high for a large reservoir). 1 mm/s is 0.001 m/s. Square it and divide by 19.62.
