I changed the thermostat and the temperature sensor and I am still getting the Engine Hot A/C Turned Off message. Any ideas?

Not an O, it is numerical therefore it is a Zero!

Mine keep going over to 260 but the engine isn't running hot. I've change out the cooling sensor and the thermostat and it's still doing it, but when I slow down or come to a complete stop. The gage goes back up to 210.

Silverado 2011 v6 I changed both the thermostat and temperature sensor .. problem solved Cost me 100$ .. parts and coolant.. engine should be cold when you do it.

What was the first symptom? As far as noise, did u have a high fan noise under hood at the same time with the “ engine hot ac not turned in” warning?

Was the radiator cool?

Hi, will this fix my issue .? I run my truck n turn on A/C but when i come to a complete stop at a red light or so it starts to heat up so have to turn off ac !?

I replaced my thermostat and I’m still having this problem. Anyone have any idea what could be causing it.

I fuckin knew it 😂 I just bought a chevy the other day as a work truck it does have a few issues but the most major one was this one I kinda figured it was the thermostat because the fan would still blow air even tho the fan was off so I figured it was stuck open and was eventually gonna start causing problems

I did everything. I changed the thermostat, cooler, sensor, but after a week it’s still the same issue.

Kindly can you explain Which thermostat do I need to get ... because I have same problem but when I bought the original thermostat based on chassis number ...they told me the engine has been replaced... and the thermostat I've got is not the right one as it works for couple of hours then again the same message comes up on dashboard!!! So kindly tell me what kinds of thermostat that I need to try ?? The computer keeps detecting fault and Dan runs high along with " hot engine ... Ac turned off .."

I unhooked my batterie and reset the thing and it works so theirs some kinda short. This is after I spent 700 dollars for a toe and the dealer to replace the coolant tempeture sensor witch only cost 20 DOLLARS. then a couple weeks later it did it again so I went and got a sensor and replaced it again but at first it did not fix it and I was told to reset it by disconnect the battery and it reset. Its fine it couple times since then and I reset it and it's fine for months or weeks so iam guessing theirs a short somewhere. Any ideas or suggestions???? Where or what to check next.
