Willy Nilly Waltz - Danielle Rothschild
On November 17, 2024 I had my brass quintet, “Willy Nilly Waltz,” premiered at the University of Florida Undergraduate Composition Concert. This piece was composed based around a handful of random emotions surrounding a series of events in my life and the impact of others on me during these times. From somberly annoyed and grumpy to bouncy and joyful, this waltz explores different feelings through a triple-meter dance.
