Hope this helps! I purchased the replacement sticks and tri-wing Nintendo screwdriver off eBay, that's all you need to do this.

My little brother and I played through the arcade mode in TTT2 as Feng and Law while simultaneously listening for emergency alerts...? There was a huge wildfire near our area and we're really fortunate to not have been affected!

I'm back, and I moved! Hope you guys like how my new gaming setup looks. I've picked up a few more consoles and games during my TH-cam absence. Thank you so much for sending me this package, Luke! It's awesome to see you still working your magic restoring systems, and an honor to have received anything from one of my favorite TH-cam gamers.

Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS)
มุมมอง 3010 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a fantastic game, and although not very difficult compared to the former Fire Emblem games, it's great considering that it's on a handheld console. The gameplay, character art, story and animated cutscenes are fantastic, and I highly recommend it for tactical RPG fans.
Sim City (SNES)

I found this game for 99 cents at the thrift store, and I don't regret buying it one bit! There's clearly an unmatched nostalgia factor in these early SNES games, at least for me.

bios corruption
PSA: The Z-button can be a real b1tch, try to make sure you don't displace it while opening. Otherwise, enjoy puzzling like me. :D
My black one is messed up the analog stick is not there the rubber part my indigo one is good this looks challenging but didn’t know it wasp possible
thanks alot man great tutorial
Can you do the same thing with the switch gamecube controller?
Edit: on mine, I had to resolder the CPU (IC103 / CXD8606). It seems it's really fixed now! Looks like the cause of the sound issue is discovered. In short: between the sound DRAM chip (IC310) and the CXD2938Q sound chip (IC732) the soldering can break on multiple legs/pins, possibly from the board's flexing. Here's the repair video: th-cam.com/video/K_rq6-ozoAs/w-d-xo.html
The bios is probably corrupted
got the job done thanks mate
thanks for the help, I did it around 3 hours. the only thing that's off about the new grey analog stick replacement I got from Ebay is it doesn't make the clicking noise when i move around in circles but the yellow C analog stick does, probably is because it's rubber or it has to do with the size of the grey analog stick so yea.
This happened for me aswell the problem might be for you that you pushed the control stick in too far/not far enough. You have to get it correct its kinda annoying
sounds like you pushed it in too far though if it doesn't make the clicky sound
@@sam-o7909 I did found out, I tried to pull it out a little and it kinda work, but I also have 2 problems is that it moves by itself and I also notice it has flakes on my controller. Thank god I just bought the oem version of the analog sticks
Mine has no metal place but at all times it makes a static noice at all time.
Thank you!
It's nice Nintendo put a zip tie on the cable for great alignment I just needed to brush up on opening one. I set up a Potentiometer in a GameCube without using a multimeter it works great I'm buying my first multimeter next week
Q my ears
thanks, this helped to ensure me how to off the sticks safely. cleaning this can be scary lol
I cant close it when i finish , dont know what to do cause it doesnt fit
Removed the plate...still having the problem im very sad :/
Bios or the sound chip is fucked up
Nice one, cheers!
If the rumble stops working on my shit fuck you
just look at the wires on the round part in the center (the rumble motor) make sure they are connected to the circuit board properly if only one wire is connected it won't work and you would have to connect it back in place I would suggest looking up tutorials for replacing rumble motors and see where how they are connected and compare to what yours looks like hope this helps
Great video. Ordering parts now
I bought some replacement sticks with the screwdriver off of amazon
If it has two sets of the control stick and c-stick, it’s better using dual control stick because it’s way more comfortable.
As much as I love the high pitched squealing of a tube TV, can you turn it off after your intro next time?
Thank you good sir 🙏
The BIOS are corrupted. I think
Tanks men I changed all the motherboard and it’s fix
This is exactly the advice I needed. Thank you.
Thank you for the video. 2020
Thank you
any fix?
Cool
dude im a noob just for gamecube controllers, two of my gamecube controllers joystick rubber skin came off. like the rubber skin thingy on top of the joytstick.
Who is here because they want to play soulcaliber 2 on GameCube but the control sticks are loose
I tried it but the rumble doesn't work. How do I fix that?
Open your controller again, and see if the rumble motor (disc shaped thing in the back of the controller, resting in the “hump” of the shell) got disconnected. They easily detach from the board since it’s pretty much only held in place by the back bracket, and soldered to the board with the red/black wire. If it’s disconnected, you have to solder the wires to the board again
Bruh
I could imagine sweating my ass off disassembling my controller dammit
Could you put a control stick in place of the c stick?
Mir4ge now why would you do that? Even so, no you can’t. They are different shapes.
Rendiss, I tried it, it works! Thanks for your encouraging words and support!
Mir4ge fuck
@@pastyIe haha owned
That entire controller is fucking nasty lol
FYI I bought a 10-pack of one of the top selling GameCube replacement sticks (analog and c stick) in Amazon and they didn’t have the little nub that you described, so they didn’t fit. Really annoying.
You could just grab like a razer and cut it in
Hey dude, where did you get those parts?
Just search up: gamecube analog and c stick replacement sticks.
never get cheap gamecube sticks they feel bad
dude that TV is a relic xD
meleetv
This model was before the PSOne redesign
Huh, that's much easier than I thought it was gonna be. Thanks for sharing
Awesome!
Dude. You are awesome. Thank you!!
I hate the mushy feel, i think that it could wear off so quick
Thanks man very helpful
So removed that metal plate fixes your audio issue? I have a SCPH-9002 and i have sound issues as well. Or it gives me a sizzle noise or the sound isn't working at all. Please give us more info.
Had old controllers and now that ultimate came up this vid comes so handy now
Where did you get the replacement sticks from I hear mixed reviews on most of them
You can use wii nunchuck sticks
@@rowdow9191 That would suck not gonna lie
I’m waiting for my sons new buttons now so this video was a god send
