Can I connect it directly to a Marantz receiver?
Couple quick questions: 1. If you have the subwoofer plugged in to a strip that you manually turn off every day, will the settings be retained? 2. Is there a way to disable the 20hz high pass filter in iWoofer? 3. Is there a way to manually reduce certain frequencies that aren't being auto corrected accurately in iWoofer?
They are way to expensive... the port is.more expensive than am active speker 🤡
I love my 8" SWS. Been using it for 4 years and still going. I'm actually using it on one of my bicycles to play some bass while I enjoy bike riding. Key features, lightweight and compact.
Let's see the new full bridge powerhouse amplifiers in action
I wanna do a proper upgrade to my trailblazer bose door subwoofers, SWS 6.5 obviously the only real aftermarket upgrade. How much power can I feed the 6.5s for max performance and headroom?
We rate them for 200W MAX.
@@earthquakesound3628 I must then ask, is that 200 max RMS wattage? Or is that peak wattage your speaking of? Its incredibly key to which amplifier I wind up buying for these bad boyz, and brands are notorious for being vague about these specs. Thank you!
@@AllboroLCD Peak wattage
Works absolutely nothing like a turbo on a car but right on 😂
I've been impressed and happy for a bunch of years using this solution. I think it's better than buttkicker. I use this with home theater and on a racing simulator. I think it's underated. The Aura solution rattles and doesn't blend like these so. Thanks.
Great to hear!
I have two mmat monster 12s in a ported box and the ports are vertical between the drivers. I want to add one of these passive radiators to my box. Question is what is the best location to put it on the box and should it be inside the box or outside the box and should it be on the back or should i just put it where the ports are removing the ports ?.
Mount it inside and in between your two drivers. That is the most common setup.
@@earthquakesound3628 i cant the port tubes are there. I just ended up stuffing two body pillows behind both drivers to slow the rear wave. I think its a minor enhancement but i dont think the pillows are placed right in the box. I just crammed them in there. I dont want to use polyfil loose inside the box because i don't want that stuff all over my drivers because they aren't the cheap kind.
I see alot of intor's demo's but have yet to hear them. Dispersing sound in in wide area is one thing sounding good and reliability is another. Let's hear them.
amazing people amazing product! as everything else. ive never had or heard any earthquake product that did not suppass my expectations. and when it comes to earthquake products my expectations are already higher then every other brand. beautiful. new and refreshing ideas. thankyou for sharing 🤓🖐️
Hi ,Where can I get (MINI ME P8 ) service manual ? switching module gone bad in power section. located back to the high frequency transformer
I just wana know where i can get one of those plate amps their using in that enclosure with the plexi top!
IQ1500 or IQ600, which can be purchased directly through us.
@@earthquakesound3628 how much?
Neat, but if you want cred as an acoustics industry manufacturer, you might want to record your voiceovers without distortion.
I was just gonna add this as a comment haha
Building a custom box for my chevy colorado crew cab, going to test out the 6.5 sws this weekend, glad to support innovative companies like this.
How did your build turn out?
What about with flipping this around instead of putting it inside of a box you mounted out side of the box then make one side of the sound pump lead to a ported wraparound for a true custom sound and hits the best of all world the best of sealed and passive and ported and imagine with a 8 inch supersub able to move as far in and out with these passive soundpumps added to a sealedbox then one side of the passive leading down a ported enclosure now thats the evolution of sound
I'm sold. He's giving me 2 inches
Luka Doncick!!! speaking about sound hehe
I will try this product I have tried 2 different isolators from Best Buy for my car audio amps with good reviews and while they do help mellow the hum I can still hear it thru my tweeters. If this works I want to get a class Ab amp for my mids and highs for SQ right now I have a class d 4 channel if I can’t get rid of this hum I will stick to class d
Could this be paired with an 8" sundown subwoofer?
Yes, as Long as the passive radiator has 2x the active subwoofers displacement= cone area x the x max. Example: If you had a 10inch with a 1 way linear x max of 24mm= 48mm total, then you could use 1- Earth Quake slaps 10in passive radiator= 100mm total x max= @ least 2x the active subwoofers total displacement.
I like this guy and seeing this video gives me more confidence on these passive radiators
Often imitated but never duplicated. For all those SVS/Sunfire/Def Tech/Rel lovers out there get your head out of your butt and check out Earthquake. They're the little company that can and could and will kick your ass!!!
Love it and thanks for the support.
Are the 6.5 sws used in the componen systems?
Can we have a demo with the shallow mount subwoofer? Perhaps in a car with a db meter.
Where i Can Buy a 15" (SWS15)?
They're discontinued. Happy hunting.
I see that Raider shirt!!!
This man is just pure genius. I've talked to him a few times on the phone and he is just an amazing person with amazing knowledge. And yes that product works. You have noise in your system? Buy it and then you won't. That simple!!
Again being that I'm an earthquake geek here in New York this stuff just makes me smile. No one puts the time and energy into researching SUB- bass like these guys. Yes they do other products but 90% of what they focus on is SUB- bass and they've been doing it for 40 years and they're damn good at it!!! Let's give a round of applause for Joseph and Abraham over at earthquake. They could have sold the company to bigger people but they don't. They are still The Little Engine That Could and Can. Plus still kicking everybody's butt... including the now popular overtalked about SVS subwoofers. Again kudos to Joseph and Abraham because at the end of the day they put their heads down and work and create great products. It's not about advertising and cool neat little 4K videos and all this other horse shit. It's just all about that bass baby!!! 🔊 🤯🤯
Thank you for the support
What amplifier to use for the Q10b?
We suggest using the XJ-300ST.
Which one should I buy 2ohm or 4ohm? Am upgrading from a stock hifi system in a bmw f10. Thanks.
You will have to check the specs on your stock head unit. I believe the 2 Ohm SWS8 will work for your system , but double check.
Please do more videos of the car audio subwoofers and amplifiers
🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊👍👌👌👌
The best subwoofer are earthquake whether for home or car . i had numerous of earthquake subs new and old and the magma are my favorite for sq tight and solid i had other brands from Rockford too jl audio too lanzar earthquake started it all and still is the best subwoofers for home audio i have a set of the new magma and a set of sws all in 12 " and i had a set of the original magma that i had for years on. when comes too subwoofer know one beats earthquake. and the oldschool earthquake amplifiers were the shit back in the day . thanks for all the amazing products .
What do u think of the earthquake sub zero 12s? I’m upgrading my tremors to those soon . Going sealed enclosure this time . Since the high xmax I’m jus hoping I still get that chest hitting bass .
@@theegreatest9322 i never had the subzeros i have had the magma x12 and the old school magmas 12 both sets out did my Rockford and infinty kapa and Jl audio magmas are know for there sound quality of bass reproduction in comptiontion so i imagine that the subzeros excel in spl comptiontion for power hungry subs earthquake is still the leader in home audio for bass reproduction and amplifiers
Just wanted to tell everybody at Earthquake, I have been using same subwoofer since 1999, a 12 inch Earthquake Magma the early version with dual 3 ohm voice coils. I've never had any issues. It was expensive but worth it.
You definitely got your money's worth.
Does this work for car audio
Yes it will work for home and car audio applications.
Super
Do not buy this piece of shite. Does not work. I still hear noise. You have been warned.
Very sorry that the GLI-200 is is not working out for you. If the problem that you are having is not ground loop, then it will not help. Please call our tech support line so that we can go over your system to identify the problem.
What if I don't have a subwoofer output or anything RCA ( I have a Earc Soundbar with wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers )? Is it possible to add bass shaker with this setup?
All Earthquake tactile transducers require an amplifier. If your TV has left and right RCA outputs, then you can send an audio signal to the back of an amplifier like our XJ-300ST which we highly recommend for use with any of our transducers/bass shakers.
Need a marine option for a sxs and utv

Good thing that you're not an acoustic engineer..... because that would make too much sense
A turbocharger? Really guys? You have to do better then that.
I mean it is taking what being put out of the sub (exhaust) and using it to make more output (power)
How many will i need to put in a sealed box with 4 15s ?
4 of these units in this video, or 4 of the 15inch slaps single passive units, if your 1 way linear X Max is 25mm or less.
How many will a i need to put in a sealed box with 4 15s ?
Great video guys and great product. My favourite part is "...... if there is a wife acceptance issue....." haha
Keep the good work earthquake rocks I own all earthquake audio in my car I know it's quality up there with the big dogs and I had a phD2 amp moddife by me with much bigger caps and some 12inch Magmas in 1 ohm and a good power supply and he's right if you feed power too this amps they will output tremendous amount of current I do think they could use a bigger cap bank but they are good strong amps as matter a fact I put my ph d2 up against a T 1000 rated at 2000 watts same set up and we had all agreed the earthquake just had more punch than the punch T 1000 don't belive the hype earthquake power house amps are bad ass if you give them a good power supply they stand too there name POWER HOUSE
why is this guy always bashing wives like they don't like quality sound too or just hate looking at subs?
Because the #1 cause forcing men to remove subwoofers (& towers) from their home is female s/o’s. It is the #1 reason that I am able to buy used subwoofers (and towers as well) on a daily basis for extremely low prices. I am a huge beneficiary of women having some sort of primal hatred for speakers in their living spaces. Is this a generalization? Yes, of course. Is it true the absolute vast majority of the time? Yes, of course.
Охуительно! Well done!
What ever happened to Freddy?
What size
10 and 12 inch with passive radiators.
Will y’all be making any new car subwoofer and where can I buy them at I only find them at sonicelectronix and Amazon is there any other websites
