Excellent! Im going to listen to this a lot more than once! I would love a video where you explain how you go about learning these peices. Are they adapted from violin performances?. Is there sheet music? How long does it take to memorize the 372,475.32 notes Etc..

First rate Bach playing. Wonderful negotiation of some very difficult chordal sections along with exceptionally clean fretting and well-chosen tempi. Totally convincing performance!

A real "trial" piece, with never-ending tremoli--some even multi-course. Whoever did the transcription somehow managed to translate an intense, virtuoso violin work to the mandolin--a completely different instrument sharing only the common tuning of the strings--G D A E. I think this was beautifully played even though the effect of some of the soaring passages in the violin original could not quite be replicated on the versatile mandolin. Congratulations to you, Carrera, for your accomplished playing, and best wishes for a long and successful concert career
