Good to see you having fun with ED. I think the type 8 will be good for mining, passenger and cargo senarios. Rivals the glorious Python which has much better hardpoints and speed but less cargo capacity. Good addition to the game.

@22:00 The thrusters actually do gimbal, just like your buddies were telling you, if you zoom out your eyeballs enough to see the whole arm they're mounted on moves. It is not the camera, because the arm moves and the rest of the ship doesn't. Eyeballs are useful tools and if you look at more than just a single infinitesimally small point in space, you can gather much more information. It's not just a 'you' problem, it seems to be the case for so many unfortunate souls. The number of times i've had to tell my roommate where to look on his HUD for something as simple as a health/stamina bar is just insane.

"report crimes against me" if you are in a system with security the cops will come and help you if NPC's attack you. Thats why it exists in PVE.

I have a mining Cutter. All it mines is Tritium. It's kept immaculate, once I get back to my carrier. All my ships are named after songs. My Cutter is "Smoke On the Water", because of its deep purple paintjob.

Still have a little bit of hope for a console re release one day... Havent played since they dropped support years ago. Seeing you pick and fly your new Corvete almost made me redownload and dust off mine.

I love my corvette. But it always feels WAY too big for a mainly single crewed ship.

Lego on Mars. Would be cool in the future that they 3d print the Mars vehicles and use lego style interlocking parts so the vehicles are adjustable. Just as long as scorbs isn't in charge 😂 😊

Here's my two cents: if you're a veteran player with a fully-engineered ship, and you're afraid of a newbie purchasing a pre-built ship so that he can jump into ED and actually stand a chance without sinking hundreds of hours into the game, then you're doing both the game & community a huge disservice by complaining and threatening to quit playing. So what if a father of 3 who works full-time wants to pay $20 to be relevant in one single area of the game without giving his life away, and if you're the elite rank that you should be by this time and cannot take on this newbie pilot, well then I guess it's a skill issue innit 😅 This is far from pay to win, although I will admit they are treading dangerous territory and it could certainly go that way if they're not careful. They are trying to bring people back to the game, not to mention new players to the game, so just be grateful that they're still supporting ED and attempting to increase the playerbase. Anyone that I have ever spoken to that has played Elite Dangerous in the past all say the same thing; It's too much of a grind fest and it makes them put the game down. Really makes me wonder what percentage of the people who are complaining about this are gankers who just sit and wait for newbies to come their way (or actively seek them out to ruin their day)... It's not that big a deal, stop whining.

Note! If you want to see one of these and risk your life in the process. It's a P03 type. Eats hull through shields. While doing the final panning shot, it ate 10% hull. Killed an SLF in seconds. You have been warned ;-) 09
