Regarding alternatives to the USMLE, there are limited options for entering the U.S. healthcare system as a physician without going through it, since it's the standard for licensing. However, here are a few alternatives that might be of interest: Research or Clinical Research Associate (CRA),Health Administration or Public Health, Nursing: Some IMGs consider transitioning into nursing, especially advanced roles like a Nurse Practitioner (NP). This also requires schooling and certification but can be a faster way to work in patient care in the U.S.
