For over six months, I worked closely with a consultant named David Gray from Coreteam Partners. Our collaboration, however, took an unexpected turn recently. David decided to abruptly end our partnership, citing my habit of sending early morning emails as the reason. This, to me, seemed like an overreaction to a minor inconvenience. But the real issue that I want to bring to light is what followed. In the process of his departure, David retained possession of a substantial amount of my intellectual property (IP). Despite my efforts to resolve this amicably, he has refused to return it. This situation has been a hard lesson in the realities of business relationships. Hi Chris, I just watched you through Entre, which was fantastic. Love your sense of humor. I have a through line of not being worthy and never good enough. It could be a long story for sure. Alcoholic dad who was also bipolar, depressed, and committed suicide in 2008 after building 2 successful businesses, 2 failed businesses, and then finally gambling 500k away in 6 months. I started with focusing on those people that don't feel worthy, but they would be hard to find when placing ads right? Then I thought about moms in bad or abusive situations because I was there too with an alcoholic husband. But THEN I realized that I've been in the mortgage business over 38 years, and got laid off in June with millions of other mortgage, title and escrow professionals ... And that's when it hit me to help them. Does my through line still work for this? I want to be aligned. Your advice is greatly appreciated. 😉
