On 6/29/2024 I attended an open house at the former Rock Island RR shops in Silvis IL with fellow CILCO retiree and railfan Rick Dolanc. A highlight was seeing the Canadian Pacific steam engine 2816 which is on their "Final Spike Steam Tour" this summer. It is a beautifully restored locomotive.
