South Park is unapologetically honest and the writers are brilliant at taking real issues and putting them in ridiculous scenarios that give you new perspective while dying of laughter. Family Guy will sprinkle in real issues but is mostly just supposed to be silly and make you laugh. My favorite is American Dad. When they moved from Fox to TBS, it got so much better. And Patrick Stewart is definitely the cherry on top.😂

If you want to have a good idea about how South Park was offensive, try to watch the old episodes (the first seasons), but I don't know if you can still find them (things were less censored back in the day. I've watched almost all of them starting in 1997 (very first episode), and most of them could not be broadcast on t.v. today. My favorites were season 1, episode 10 (Damian--boxing match between Jesus & Satan, with citizens taking bets, and Season 1 episode 13 (Cartman's mom is a dirty slut). Recent seasons are not as good, because they're not allowed to make certain jokes anymore), but 1997 & 1998 seasons (1 & 2) were the best.
