Two questions: 1) Why the ceiling over the dwarf farm? 2) If you have those skeletons up there taking pot-shots at the dwarves, what's to prevent the skeletons from hitting the spawn and destroying it?

You can actually use puffer fish on item stands to kill the greydwarfs

So you can train elemental magic by trapping a stone golem and endlessly smashing it with ice staff.. do no damage gain elemental magic. If you can build that next to bone piles and dragon egg nests. You can have you're combat arena and any of the following ideas all combined with you're existing builds in one spot. -26 degree roof into a 45 degree roof into a wall... Sprint against it for makeshift treadmill Swimming hole if you're close enough to water level Protection staff in combat arena to passively train blood magic while you train combat ( level 1 because it gives exp when the bubble is broken not when it takes damage) Lox or asksvin treadmill out of earth work for riding skill... This needs to be away from spawners

Nice vid! How to solo Fortress (I've done this dozens of times in vanilla) - build up a tower within range of everything rendering in fortress, or jump up on one of the many ruins. - use Staff of Embers to destroy all balista and spawners inside fortress. Use Staff of the Wild, or anything really to kill all hostiles, especially the Warlock. - Jump/build over the wall and loot everything. (You can dig under the inner tower wall to get inside toweR) - done. With no risk, very easy. Tips: - You don't need to be within attack range of anything, you can get on a high place outside their range. - If you're using feather cape (and i always do), ALWAYS have fire resistance potion running. The cloaks Weakness to fire is bad

I did this, but i raise the ground to make my stairs, and this become my way in and out of my base

I did this without magic by using the Spinesnap bow, as it's Spirit damage helps a lot against the undead. Once I cleared the keep of mobs, I dug it out to the bottom, leveled the ground inside, and built a two-level base inside using Grausten floors and walls. Every spire and rock in the area is made of Grausten, and there's a ton of building resources all around the keep, so there isn't much need for stone. Just make sure you bring a stonecutter with you.

How is the greydwarf farm dead? I never did it with the fires, just used the skeletons 4months ago :) Or maybe longer 😁

greydwarf farms are super easy with a simple wolf breeder

Little trick I found a while back for the greydwarf farm (it's definitely not dead). Normally the dwarves break your fire pits, but If you use braziers and bury them to just below the coals they won't break or take damage, you can refill them, and they still damage the greydwarfs. It pushes the farm back a little farther in your progression, but not so far as to be irrelevant. It can be built with as few as two braziers (4x8 section) or up to five of you get lucky with caves (8x8 section). And if you build space for a kiln it's completely self sufficient. Happy farming!

I find swamp spawners better at leveling skills as they generate new enemies at a much faster rate. Especially the ruins. The spawners can be put into ground using a hoe, which makes them indestructible except for weapons with blast damage.

Good tip on how to outline your area. I do the same- just digging out low enough to get the line paid out then go back for depth. Having the proper outline helps a bunch. Thanks for the video! :)

You can pretty much count on the developers transitioning to a stability matrix requiring foundations to insure the ability to build upwards, but hey thanks for pointing it out so they make it a priority.

you can also just directly put the 'ceiling' on the floor as a foundation for 60.

I found it out the minute i took out foundation in building menu XD Also with foundations its more difficult to build cellars.
