Life is too short…
Do what you love,
be with people who make you happy,
live simply, try new things, and SMILE!
That’s our motto. We are Robert and Gayla Scrivener. Some folks think our lifestyle is crazy, while others think we are the luckiest people on earth.
October 1, 2011 was our first official day of becoming full-time RVers. It was so liberating to sell most of our possessions and move into our 389 sq ft 2003 Alfa SeeYa. At the time, our careers were changing and it was the perfect time in our lives to set out on our adventure. No in a converted ambulance named Clifford.
We modified furnishings in our coach to make a perfect home office for the two of us. We obviously aren’t retired, so we have to make a living somehow. We pour all our time in photography, music, and our business Scrivener Solutions, a virtual assistant company where we specialize in content marketing for our clients, which includes direct mail newsletters, e-newsletters, social media, and blog posts.

Mason Dixon Historical Park - Core, West Virginia
On our way back from Maryland we decided to stop by the Mason Dixon Historical Park in Core, West Virginia. It is a beautiful area. The day we were there the temperature was 28 degree and a nice steady wind. We walked to the end of the trail to see the markers where Mason & Dixon ended their westward survey trek.

Nice camping area!
Indeed it is. Very nice there. Thanks for watching.
nice
My home town is Belle Fourche. I love seeing travelers come through here. It's been a long time since I've been out to the center of the nation. Boy has it changed used to be a flag in the field and you had to hop the barb wire fence. And you pronounced Belle Fourche right when you said it without the r . Means beautiful forks. Where two rivers meet in town. Safe travels. I hope to do the same some day
Oh my. I’m glad I pronounced it correctly. Thanks for son insight on this. Thank you for watching too. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
We haven't been there in so long. Good music trivia.
Awesome share
Thank you for watching.
@@beentheredoingthat3912 Take care
Woolaroc is awesome!!
I went to the Green Country Hamfest this year. I stayed over on Friday night. That train came through every hour or so, ask me how I know? IT IS LOUD!! 😂
I agree with that. It is loud!!! Hope it was a good hamfest this year.
@@beentheredoingthat3912 My first time being there, I was overwhelmed. Very nice IMHO. Most, if not all, the tables had items.
Awesome. I need to get back to that show. It is a good one.
What are you using for line? I have a Shakespeare spin-casting reel on mine. I removed all the lightweight panfishing line that was pre-spooled on it. Tried using "Spider Wire" braided line and it didn't work very well - kept breaking at the snap swivel. Switched to 30 pound test monofilament and it worked much better but you can't fit much on the reel.
This was a friend of mine who built this for his use. I don’t know what type of line he used on this.
BATF has joined the chat.
Those are amazing
Nice! at that place you stopped by the Santa Fe Trail, if you look on google maps, you can clearly see the ruts very well, so next time i go up that way I am gonna take the drone & see if I can get the shot too! There is also dinosaur tracks & a 3 state marker very near. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching. We’re actually heading back to that area starting tomorrow. We’re gonna be doing a bit more exploring and hit that Tri State Marker.
First chuckle-it’s kinda windy, lol. Welcome to Wyoming!
Warning - the large reducer appears to be a non pressure rated fitting. Only use pressure rated fittings and pipes in launchers. Have fun and be safe!
Came across Woolaroc after exploring on Google maps. Really enjoyed looking round the museum curtesy of your video, fascinating history. many thanks from across the pond in the UK 🙂
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻!
Chris has been truly inspirational! I think it's why so many follow him on his journey! He's also a very likeable character and really live through him in his videos. I feel like I'm the one who's there, experiencing these amazing and remote places. And the drama is very real and you think that he is in the real world. It's not scripted. It's the whole "reality tv" aspect, only this truly is REALITY and on a weekly basis.
My daughter went there today
April 27,2023
The Confederates were such completely gutless pussies that I'm really surprised by the outcome. It becomes explainable only in the context that the Union put virtually zero resources into Missouri.
雄大な景色ですね
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
My favorite museum ever! Cherokee proud! 💪♥️🌍🌎🌏
Tis my favorite too. Thanks for watching!!!
Did you build it or did you buy pre-made?
It was built by the person in the video. He was demonstrating how it works!
Thanks for the video , I enjoyed it
Its beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been to a few mills in Missouri but not this one. Definitely going to have to go.
It is a nice one! You’ll have a good time.
I’m thinking about doing this in my JK Rubicon this summer. Is there dispersed camping available in the area? I would like to hit other trails and kinda overland it.
There is dispersed camping throughout the area. There is some designated camping areas too. It is nice just to explore the area. You could spend several days around the area. Enjoy your trip.
Can I borrow that !!!!
I recently drove up there to check it out. There is even less now. I didn't see the museum, and all the concrete buildings coming into town have collapsed. Still very cool.
Beautiful place! I will add it to my list of placed to go!
Haha... Dominos... twice.. and brownies.. twice. LOL.. you guys are too funny.. enjoyed the vid.. k0klb
Ha!!! We were hungry and didn’t want to go anywhere. Wife said they deliver. So we had them deliver it twice in one day. Thanks for watching!!! N0RVS
Great video! I just went to LBL for the first time this past weekend and stayed at one of the campgrounds. I would love to venture out more into the primitive camping areas, so I appreciate you guys taking the time to document your experiences with so many of them. What a great place!
Thank you so much for the kind words and thank you for watching!!!
Is there trails open to vehicles or is it hike in only?
Where we went was hiking trails only.

We are riding this tomorrow. First family ride of the year. Thanks for sharing. You two are having so much fun!!!!!
Yes it was a fun ride. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip with your family!
Outstanding video- subscribed
slowtime good time red car nice
Big Brutus is BIG all right! I have been to see it alot and I never get tired of it. I have an Electric Rope Shovel that I saved from the scrapyard. I found it on the side of the freeway near my home and they said that if I could move it I could have it, otherwise it would be destroyed. I got it home and fixed it up! It is good as new and in a big garage that I built next to the house.
Makes me pissed off for the native Americans
It was either the Spaniards or the English or the Russians that were going to take over in N America. It sucks, but that part of the world was so far ahead in technology and culture as opposed to tribes/ hunter gatherers. Pick your poison.
Well, there’s a simple solution: turn in all your modern conveniences and ill-gotten gains from the sweat of indigenous peoples and move to a country that wasn’t founded by taking it away from someone else. Good luck with that.
RIP GoPro
Well the GoPro survived but the GoPro mount did not survive. Thanks for watching!!!
Grew up in CA... BUT I'm a PROUD native of Bartlesville ("Bartian"). And member of the Cherokee Nation, and (ironically) a direct descendant of Wm. Brewster, of the Mayflower. This museum and ranch are TREASURES, and Bartlesville has SO MUCH more.
Oklahoma Cherokee raised.
Love your videos. I can't wait to get back on the trail. Springtime is my favorite between Springfield and Willard. Smells like riding through a flower garden.
Spring time is awesome! I concur on the flower garden smells. Be safe on the trails and thanks for watching!!!!
You were moving the camera around too fast!
Can’t please everyone!!!
@@beentheredoingthat3912 it was hard to get a good look at anything!

Thank you & thanks for watching!
What is that loud humming sound coming from the Jeep. Is it an electric fan?
Yes. It is an electric fan. I gained an extra 1-2 mpg using the electric fan instead of the factory mechanical fan. Thank you for watching.
Love that place
It truly is a wonderful place!
Slow time Good time Thanks
