Nice bike!!! Has anyone come across any news ones out there still ? I'd love to find a new WR250R.
Bought 2002 2 week's ago. Has a track pipe on it and its loud as F. But i absolutely love it.
😎
The bike sounds pretty fast for its price
Hello from Edmonton you got yourself another subscriber, yes I would havecto agree im starting my collection of bikes as well, 12 bike makes the garage pretty full, plus I want to purchase more. 😊
Holy, 12 bikes? That's a hell of a collection
Como vinculas el micrófono al video de la cámara
how much cc????
I loved my 2011 and 2016 WR250R. My 2011 was stolen but I bought another one in 2016. These WR250Rs and good for everything but the highway.
I just bought a 2018 wr250r today.😅
@@Emeterioffroad nice😎
I love my wr. I think it’s the best bike for me.
Nice video man. I have a 2017, you’ll love some more aggressive tires on it for sure.
@@Senseless_Joyride thanks and I'm sure I will!
nice scenery
A couple things I forgot to add in the video, these bikes aren't being made anymore. Their production run was from 2008 to 2020, and you can pick them up used for around 4-5k Canadian dollars
How is your riding season in your area, do winters really stop you from riding, I was actually born down there.
@@mbsevans ya I don't ride in the winters, or when there's salt on the roads
Now that you have one never ever sell it 💯
How fast is it?
@@PonjaLanka about 75kmh
Whats the top speed?
@@PonjaLanka around 110kmh
370 lbs 154 stock hrspr feels so different than any other bike out there and after 20 years can still hang with the new bikes easily i would like some mod for the exhaust sound though needs to sound more burly and less like a sewing machine
Where did you get the mirrors! Thinking of putting them on my 03 fireblade. Exact one.
my buddy just picked up that same exact bike like 2 days ago 😂 very cool seeing it in a video!!
As a a owner of two 929s I love the 954 just as much timeless lightweight powerful design. I love the 929 idle lope tho
Can i get a link to your mods?
which mods specifically ?
Side/lower aftermarket fairing kit and the mirrors!! I’ve been loving my Fz6
@@Key-ny2zm the lower fairings were already installed when I bought the bike, and as for the mirrors, just go on amazon and search folding motorcycle sport mirrors. There's plenty that come up
My grey import in UK one of the first got me my first speeding ticket 153 mph on a 60 mph duel carriage way 😂😂🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@karlalton3170 Hell ya😎
Year ban and extended retest?? Don't ask me how I know😅......
What's the top speed of this dirtbike?
@@xiemenflorin2987 I'm unsure actually, the speedometer broke so I couldn't tell🤷
@xiemenflorin2987 the bike's top speed is 110 kph You're welcome
06’ Fz6 owner here! I bought my bike spring of this year and love it! Great ergonomics, enough speed for me(145 mph), my aftermarket exhaust roars and still a clean looking bike
i put this video on for background noise, but i have the same bike! 2006 fz6. mine was a last minute FB marketplace find and it’s been taking me 30 miles (round trip) to work 5 days a week for a few months! i love this bike and do not regret it at all. it’s my 5th bike, i came from a CBR 600rr and the difference is real. but sometimes i can still get the jump on these normal 600s, lol. i had an sv650 that was definitely quicker. absolutely love this bike and runs like a tank in the FL heat.
Man these bikes mean so much to me. my dad had one of these when I was young before his health got bad Wasn't into bikes then but its a goal of mine to finally collect my own. Sweet video man 🤙
@@Bertoslav thanks I appreciate it!
Hard to come by in Canada?? Seriously? although they didn't sell as many as the first models, they still sold by the shed load in Europe and other markets, although not as much as the GSX-R1000 and R1. All the Japanese manufactures had a 2 year model run back then, and had done since the 70s, it was only much later around 2010 that they stopped updating their models every 2 years. This was the last FireBlade designed by Tadao Baba, the engineer that designed every Blade till the 1000cc ones, he is considered the Father of the FireBlade.
Looks like you guys had a ton of fun :)
How did u ordered on Amazon
Great trip! Best camping weather EVER
I thought I recognized @HyperOrange!!!
I hate that guy
2 valve 250. Cheap transportation.
I missed the memo and picked up an 02 Busa. :) Those are sweet bikes though.
Try a litle pressure with the foot under the the shift lever and than use the clutch lever,it works and you will shift so much snoother and no hard klunk When you are idling hold the clutch lever in for a few seconds you can also hit the gas throttle a little bit and than put in first gear,it will be also much smoother and no hard klunk I hope this will work for you. That cbr 954 is awesome bike love the colour i dont think the sold it in holland or europe
The original Fireblades were something else. Honda use to trend set a lot. They'd come out with something big and ground breaking all while still making sensible and very usable stuff. They've slowed down a bit in the crazy department though, a lot of their newer bikes while excellent, arent really bonkers.
Apart from the odd bike Honda have never been "Bonkers" they have always been quite conservative in engineering and style.
@@uhtred7860Honda did a lot of crazy shit back in the day like the turbo bike or the Rune too many to list
@@easyfromtnbtw3555 They all made turbo bikes, and Hondas was far from the best one, Hondas turbo was based on a 500cc V twin, it was heavy slow and over complicated. Kawasaki built the best one, theirs was based on a 750 inline four sports bike, and actually went like a turbo charged bike should have.
@@uhtred7860I didn’t say it was good I said they used to build crazy bikes
not fast enought
Aaaaaand they're discontinued 😂
for people that are looking for a non-competition bike that can take you on road and off and frugal on gas and affordable it's almost perfect, a more relaxing pace.
Fazer ❤
I had one. But it ended up sounding like a diesel after a while. Honda needs to find another way to drive the valves. Mine was a 2007. But my god it was loud. Especially at idle. Loved the bike but hated the sound
A 2007? Then it wasn't a 954.
What windscreen is that?
@@Henk87 idk I thought it was the stock one? It came like that when I bought the bike
@@northernnecessities the stock one is almost flat. Yours has a nice double bubble
I am soon buying a FZ6S !
Got a 929,never going to sell it
Good😎
In 2001 i was looking to buy a new bike, my short list was CBR929, GSX-R750 or 1000, I test rode all three and was leaning toward the 929 despite the GSX-R1000 getting all the press praise at the time, on the way back to the Honda dealer i went past the Yamaha dealer and in the window was 3 brand new 2001 R1s, that they had just un-crated, I stopped and asked for a test ride, and after bought a blue one, which i still own along with a small collection of other bikes. The 929 was/is a great bike but it felt like a 750 compared with the full fat 1000s, plus I fitted the R1 better, it felt and looked more special. Truth is, there is no "bad" 1000cc bikes from this era, all of them were fantastic, it basically came down to which brand and colour you liked.
@@uhtred7860 I feel like the 929 is a 600 with bigger balls. I just love bikes from that era.
@@chrisstephens6194 I stopped caring about new models around 2012, I’ve gone back to my biking roots and collect and restore 80s sports bikes (plus a few 90s gems and my R1) modern bikes are amazing bits of kit, but they look over styled and kinda weird to me.
Great bike and great video! Do you happen to have a link to those foot pegs? I have the same bike and could really use wider pegs. Lots of ads say they fit, but they don't work on the right side of XT225s. Yours look.like they'd be great.! Thanks!
@@shanewooll8654 it was from the website dmo specialties, bit I just checked and he announced he won't be making them anymore... That's unfortunate. So your only option now is to find used ones I think
Did you have to get your bike tuned since replacing the cans?
My dads got a cbr929 blade, grew up riding pillion on it. Absolutely incredible bike. Currently on my 125 licence looking to get my a2 around December, full A licence 2 yrs on from that.
Please, PLEASE tell me what you use to edit out your speedo
@@m1ghtbe nice try officer ( I use davinci resolve as my vid editing software )
@@northernnecessities I’m not an officer, the reason I’m asking is so I can use it myself on my own videos. If you look at my shorts I have one posted, that’s one short that I’m actively going 80 mph in a 55. I don’t want all my videos to be like that. We’re on the same team.
@@northernnecessitiesI think I might have just a little out of it because I thought you blurred it when I commented.
Revs to 10,000 RPM
Rear end was sketchy two up. Front end was sketchy at freeway speeds accelerating in curves. Brakes were the best I’ve ever had. Overall it was great but today’s GSXS1000 is just better in every way. Except the brakes. No beating the brakes.
When new they had a recall for the steering head bearings, the original ones could cause the bike to get unstable at high speed and go into a major tankslapper.
Once you get the suspension upgraded and setup its a whole different bike
Instructions unclear... bought a H2
