Wow... just came back to this. Posted 12 years ago. From gigs over 30 years ago. The lyrics were started by Tim and finished by me and the music was both I think. The Ukrainians were wealthy before the Russians came and took everything away. On the night of January 22-23, 1921, the author of the song Leontovych was shot dead at the age of 43 in his parents' house by an agent of the Cheka secret service. I put this vid out in 2017. Believe it or not, it spawned a whole project called "Hero of Your Story". I've been working on that for the past 4 years, cleaning up some of the weaker points of this music. There are now 10 compositions and all of those will probably be renamed and released as something more personal to me. We'll see. But, I honestly wish those who thumbs down this vid, if they have something constructive to say, would say it. I"m always open to improving this piece as I think, thematically, it slays. If you have a problem with the execution, I'd love to hear solutions. I'm an amateur at this and want to get better at it. Plus, I eventually want it to be good enuff for some of these "Epic Music" play lists. For those who watched and particularly gave a "like"... My thanks!!
