This is the most informative video I have seen. I've been so nervous to start building my van walls (first timer over here) and wanted to make sure I understood the rivet process before I started... Just telling you that Pex A can be used with pex B fittings and rings. In case you are on the road and can't get pex a fittings etc.

In a tight spot you can use Pex A with all the Pex B fittings.

An inexpensive digital cooking thermometer works great for checking/optimizing your water temperature.

Very helpful to see what the power requirements are. To test the power consumption *before* you install your van electrical system you can use a Kil-A-Watt device to bench test it.

On mine the pump wires run through the air intake tube, I think it avoids splash or dirt going up it - the connector won't fit up the tube... I think yours is a later design the wire is separate - good job!

You can also purchase a manual expansion tool for pex a. I purchased mine on line for $80 US.

I'm curious, when framing things out, why does everyone block the trim ring of the window, this would make it difficult if the window ever needed replacement..

Kevin, I'm having trouble getting my Bosch 4 gal water heater to work properly. It keeps making my 300W inverter sound a low voltage alarm (below 10.5V). How big is your battery bank and what size inverter are you running? Have you had the same problem?
