i just realized this in eve's boss fight music. in phase 2 & 3 its more obvious, but when youre mayday, the music's much more intense and probably has more to it, like how eve dislikes mayday cause of zuke leaving eve for mayday (i think?? im new to no straight roads), but when its zuke's side, its sounds much more chill, and (correct me if im wrong) has a little guitar to it aka the "rock", like how zuke and eve used to be friends in college yeah yeah (talking about with NO BACKING ROCK) edit: just noticed mayday's side is eve's pink side, the one she tried to hide before (can be seen in the video of her collectibles, which could be the side she disliked), while zuke's side is eve's white side, which is the side eve is more satisfied with.

the endless density? the endless scale of being a celebrity or creator? it constantly inflates, he was doomed to collapse from the start.

The most confusing track out of all. It's like getting stuck between two opposites. It's quite funny that the parts I feel most uncomfortable with, are unsurprisingly those for Zuke from phase 2-3. It's like you know which side is more real or justified. The resentment and envy towards Mayday is raw and you can feel it. The feelings towards Zuke gives you a sense that something is off. Interestingly, the full rock versions sound the calmest for all the phases.

I particularly like that despite how esoteric and "psydubby" Eve's theme is, you can still clearly hear the sadness and rage she feels towards Zuke and Mayday.
