I went to Walmart for a few items. It was lightly snowing when I arrived. When I walked past the entrance to check out, it was blowing hard snow. And Walmart workers were taping down long rugs at each entrance/exit. It said we would get 2 inches of snow; but it was more like 4-5. And it's freezing.

Those are the moments that we should all relish. Contentment!

Don't worry about the noise of your heater you need to stay warm.i really enjoy your videos of all that you are doing.its a shame you couldn't have got on your new homestead in the spring of 2024 instead of in all this cold weather. The prices there are a lot higher than here in Kentucky right before thanksgiving a grocery store 50 miles from me had green beans and corn 15 Oz cans for 39 cents each no limits and yesterday I got spiral sliced honey hams for 89 lb turkeys 49 lb, at kroger,pork chops 88lb 1 day only at priceless iga bowling green ky, if you ever get a chance come to Mammoth cave national park and tour the cave it's beautiful. I live about 20 minutes from it and I'm walking distance to the park itself. I really enjoy your videos you are always so joyful and giggling. We can hear you both. What an adventure you're having. I remember when my ex and I moved on to our unimproved lot. When the wind blew, we chased everything that wasn't nailed down. We used a camping Porta potty until our septic was installed. Don't ask me how it happened. But hubby was burning our Christmas tree, and somehow, the porta potty fell in the fire and burned up. We installed the septic faster. Our turkey chicks stood out in the rain with their mouths open facing up in the rain. We didn't try raising turkeys again. All kinds of things happened, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

I seen this type of bark done before only someone had crushed candy cane to put on top, I think your version is very pleasing to the eye, I know in one of your videos you had mentioned being off the Gluten , I have Celiac, I am thinking of making this myself, if I cannot find any candy canes that are gluten free then I will make mine exactly this way cause if you can have them so can I ,lol
