You need to always start LDN at a very low dose first. 0.5 mg sometimes even less. And increase slowly over time. Otherwise you can encounter strong adjustment side effects. Starting at 5mg is way too much.

This is not advice. This is what I’d do in your shoes. Something I have seen cure resistant bacterial infections… a patent I found. I made it and used it past several years. I would not continuously stay on because who knows? Anyway… I googled “Revici tung oil patent”. 1/4 cup pure tung oil, 3/4 cup safflower oil. 2 drops am, 2 drops pm. 30 days. It’s the alpha eleostearic acid. Powerful stuff. I don’t know interactions or anything really.

Thank you for the video. I have been takin LDN for 3 weeks and noticed changes in sexual sensations (libido and weak orgasm with now tired feeling after) I quit taking it but symptoms persisted since over 1,5 months now. I did not take ANYTHING else, and never ever experienced such symptoms before. My testo levels are through the roof, there is no erectile dysfunction, it's just the sexual sensations that blunted. Climax is no real pleasure (20%) and sexual desire not really there. I suspect it came from the opiate receptor blocking mechanism of LDN, which also makes sense, as the drug is used to get people off other pleasures like alcohol and shopping addiction. I was wondering what I can do to counteract these effects? Taking opiates to stimulate from the opposite side? Really concerned these symptoms stay persistent, like some sort of PSSD. Btw. another reason why I can clearly attribute these side effects to LDN, is that I am no longer tired after climax which proves the impact of LDN on prolactin. (I am 34 years young) Would appreciate if anyone can help how to counteract these effects - taking morphine to stimulate mu-receptors?

  • @AlexSelf-Help

It is known that LDN messes with prolactin, so just another piece of evidence, just don't wanna hear from anyone: it must be from other things. (I am 34 years young)

You should have started at very low dose and slowly build up to dose that helps you. It probably will fade away . Finesteride for hair loss gave me such such effects and it took months to get better. Ginkgo Biloba and L arginine at 1000mg may help . NAC will probably detox your body from along with Chlorella. Update us ✌️

I am 76 years old and I am healthier and stronger now than I was when I was 50 years old. There are two main reasons for this. I have taken LDN for the past 10 years and I keep my vitamin D level high by taking between 10,000 and 20,000 iu of D3. I keep my D level between 100 and 150 ng/ml. I also take magnesium malate, K2, B complex, turmeric, alpha lipoic acid, a good multi-vitamin, and a good multi-mineral supplement. I am also on a keto diet for the past year. also.. study shows more fiber consumes the longer you live. lets use our brains here....this basically is saying, the less processed food you consume, the longer you live. ALSO, if you are going to consume way too many carbohydrates... the more fibre within this food, the smaller you glucose level will spike, leading to less health problems from the carbohydrates. Another way to increase life expectancy would be to lower your carbohydrate intake... along with the unnecessary fiber... and you would see the same benefits.

I have suffered from chronic fatigue issue symptoms for many years, chronic gastritis, irritable bowel, post exertional malaise, chemical sensitivities, pelvic pain.. I signed up for a website which prescribed me LDN and I'm currently on day 4 of my treatment so far it feels like a runner's high throughout the day and I understand what they mean by the endorphin release. It's actually something I haven't felt in a long time because whenever I try to exercise my body no longer releases endorphins and rather gives me post exertional malaise so it's interesting on whether or not these endorphins will send a signal of rest and digest and clear up my other issues. I am concerned about my chemical sensitivities and whether or not I will be able to tolerate this drug long-term. I have to say this drug seems like it could probably be used as an off-label antidepressant especially in cases where neuroinflammation is suspected

When you took LDN the first time, did you give it at least 6-8 months? From my understanding, side effects can linger for quite awhile, but usually go away after some amount of time.

Are there any studies that show this being effective or is it all just anecdotal? I want to take it but I would like to see scientific evidence.

I have had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME) since I was a teenager. I am now 60. If I take a little less than 1mg of LDN my bowels will evacuate completely within about 30 minutes, usually diarrhea. Interestingly this would seem to be highly unusual as it is not being reported elsewhere. At any rate it would seem to indicate that my body is processing this drug differently than most and give some evidence that my body's opioid/immune regulation system is not working properly and perhaps even differently that other CFS sufferers. This makes me wonder if once they finally develop a test for CFS if it will indicate that I have CFS since my case presentation is quite different at least when it comes to this apparently unique reaction. I suffer from an irritable bowel and take 6mg of Immodium QD. it is my understanding that many CFS sufferers share this symptom. So perhaps my dramatic reaction to 1mg LDN is not so unique. It simply hasn't been recognized thanks to the lack of studies. Thanks pharmaceutical companies and medical system that has been failing me for decades now.

LDN saved my life. I was able to keep my pain tolerable (barely) for the last 10 years with extreme diet d lifestyle changes. I do not respond well to opioids or Duloxetine. COVID dialed my symptoms to 10 for the past year. I heard about LDN and started, fully expecting it to take months to start working. Within days I was feeling a little better. Within 2 weeks I was back to pre-covid levels.

FYI. THE BEST FIBER I have found is Basil Seed 2 tblesp give you 15 grams of fiber. I put it in Coconut flavored water. My second is Accaia fiber 6 gra m s in 1 tblesp put it in cereal, smoothies or soups, etc. It really helped with gut issues. I am talking LDN which is helping deal with Sjorgren's and Hashimoto's.

Hi :) I have the same problem with oral liquid LDN, it causes constipation. Did you try the sublingual version of LDN? 😊
