    Milton Freedman would highly disagree. Many American CEO's are already talking about about coming back to America. Trump will force big banks to lower credit card interest rates at 10% due to usery and enslaving the middle class in debt. Question, have these two so called economists ever ran a business or been correct about anything? Just asking!

    I would very much rather the government raise funds from tariff's and create a personal income tax deduction on employment income of around $60,000. That would mean that income below that threshold would not be taxed federally and it becomes cheaper to make things locally rather than importing them.

    A recession is upon us. Tariffs & Retaliatory Tariffs will lead to another round of job losses. I wouldn't write off the Tariffs from Trump as just "fluff". I believe he wants to oppose Tariffs. Even if manufacturing jobs do come back...... #1- they will cost Americans more. #2- some items will still need to be imported. #3- no way companies are going to saddle themselves with high start up manufacturing costs & a unknown in regards to a return of investment on manufacturing plants in America. There is a reason many manufacturing jobs went overseas. Tariffs will not work as Trump is hoping they will.

    • @deboranerad2401
      @deboranerad2401 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      To get other countries in line? The last time they had tariffs like this was the Great depression and they said that is exactly is what's going to happen again. Do you know what that means that means that you will be paying $10 a gallon for milk and $20 a gallon for gas oh I don't have to worry about it because I don't have to drive I get free rides. What do you think who do you think is going to pay for those taxes because we know you're a republican you don't understand how they work. So he charges triple the price of taxes so they're going to charge 3 million instead of 1 million okay so that's fine and dandy then they put that money back into the government and then China Japan or wherever we get 90% of our stuff from isn't going to just eat the other 2 million. They're going to up the price just like they did last time when he had him just like he did last time with the washing machines and the prices of washing machines went up 30%. There's a reason why Trump said he loves the highly uneducated. Did you know that when the night that he won there was like a hundred thousand hits on what is a tariff and can we change our vote?Jesus that's the least of your worries paying double or triple the price for your food and gas. He's going to get rid of education they're going to let the states take care of it well they don't have any money. Medicare food stamps and Medicaid and social security will nobody needs that anymore so they're going to get rid of that. We'll be living in a FEMA camp. You guys are as smart as a rock..

    • @boardtodeath46
      @boardtodeath46 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ you are clearly misinformed. Do you understand what the phrase means “ going back to the states”? He is returning power and authority back to the groups who know what’s best for themselves. He is not getting rid of education, just the wasteful Department of education. Nothing else with change except getting woke policies out of schools. Which is what is needed. You seem to not understand what tariffs are for and who has the power to use them properly. I’m not going to argue with you about it. I can only tell you that the quality of return from tariffs is based on the negotiator. Trump is a great negotiator. You are focusing on just one of the possible side effect from bad negotiations. Until you understand Its the person or country who has everyone wanting to sell to them that has all the cards. Which is the USA. We set the prices and if you don’t like it, there are other countries wanting to sell for cheaper. Take it or leave it. Part of Trumps plan is to bring back all the companies, start new companies and build and provide everything we need as a country here. So there will be no need held over our heads from anyone else. This is the plan. To be completely independent. This is how a president helps a country proper. You have been misled with a lot of media propaganda and most of America saw through it. This is why we voted for Trump. And why he won.

    "Presiden Trump assumes..." is always the beginning of a bad idea. A tariff only works (theoretically) if there's a robust sector in American manufacturing that needs protecting against foreign pricing of the same commodity or product, inducing American consumers to buy domestically because of the added cost of foreign goods due to the tariff. But that's not the case any more. Much of US manufacturing has moved off-shore to the countries that Trump is targeting, leaving little in the way of domestic competition. If Trumps enacts broad tariffs on those goods, American's will continue to buy them, because there's no domestic competition, just at inflated prices due to the tariff. Who is being "protected" in this case?
