I can fully follow every bit of theory you're explaining and mentioning, I'd consider myself pretty well educated on that side of things, but I haven't played for anywhere near my "entire life" or anything like that, only 5-6 years, so I still need to put in many more hours to have everything be a bit more... automatic. With that in mind, it's always inspiring and entertaining to watch someone whose every word I fully understand and follow with ease, whose so much faster at all of it than I am because you have so much more experience (and more knowledge surely, but that aside lol). It's nice to know that, as long as I continue playing, I'll eventually be able to keep up with your speed on my own piano when I listen to music

Seemed to me you analyzed the “easier” chords and blew past the harder ones. It isn’t you. It’s that musicians these days see everything as lead sheets. 16 voice choral music isn’t really expressible that way. As for all the inversions and passing tones go checkout Bach chorales. It’s all there. 300 years ago.

even after hitting the Fmin7, dropping down half a step to the E while still in sort of Bb minor territory is wild. I noticed you could even drop it further by making it a diminished chord with putting the C#/Db in the bass as well. I guess it makes sense as a repeat of the earlier chords, but they follow each other all over the place that I feel like you can hop anywhere
