You brought a huge smile to my face. So happy to hear your words and your focus on Love as the catalyst for ourselves and our systems. Such a simple idea - not always so simple to live into. Much love and gratitude to you as you/we! lean into this approach.

Did you consider the blizzard that just killed 40 people in Buffalo, many who died bc they had no electricity and froze to death?

I.e., if any rate increase is due to building new gas infrastructure, then no good reason? If there is no delineation of building renewable infrastructure, there is no justifiable reason to increase our rates. That said, gas is still toted as the cheapest energy source. We’re struggling with cost of living increases at the grocery store, etc. Now is not the time to add to the struggle.

Thank you for leading this effort to learn about Climate related issues and events. Would appreciate learning about Municipal Leadership Consultation meetings about Climate Action Plans. Where can we find the schedule and attend such meetings? We are currently working with a Team for preparing a CAP for a large municipality and wish to share our experience with small municipalities.

Congratulations on Achieving CCA acceptance in our communities and engaging a large number of residents in our area. This is a convenient option for many people who can get power at a lower cost than what they pay now and use Green power. For the power consumers in Low to Medium Income housing and others, there are greater environmental benefits that can be achieved by being part of their own Community Solar program. Just savings of 10% on the electrical bill is good to start but a lot more sustainability and Climate-smart solutions are available when they join their own community solar program. We hope to see our communities get involved with CSA's assistance to reduce energy by shifting to Heat pump technology and go electric for all of their energy needs in the homes, organizations, and businesses. Good Luck!

We need a 'Chamber of Climate' to bring together all the groups concerned about the environment and climate change. United we stand, divided we fall. This battle is bigger than WWII and the so-called 'Great Depression' and requires all to work together for a reasonable future.

Only half of self-identified environmentalists voted in 2016? WTF? I'd never heard that. Unbelievable.

I guess the sentiment that white people should educate themselves has some value, but educating yourself is a woefully inadequate response to the moment.

Agreed! Which is why we're incorporating racial and economic justice priorities into our work in other ways too.
