This was so good and relatable, very refreshing to see responsible Blk fathers who can come together and have a conversation ❤ #REALLIFE🫶

Been married 26 years and my wife and I blur many of the traditional roles, but some are still in play. In 26 years, she has never for one second thought about going outside and cutting the grass or rolling the garbage can down to the curb. That's never going to happen. Do whatever works for your relationship, but I feel like relationships need to be close to some sort of 50/50 or 60/40 type split. If it gets too lopsided I feel like resentment and anger will start to build for someone. You just have to help each other...that's non-negotiable. Some days one of you has more energy than the other, so that's your day to pick up the slack and give the other a break.
We believe that it's incumbent that couples operate in a place of trust and realism. Agreed that you have to do what works for you in a relationship.
Anecdotally....when I order food online my order is rarely ever incorrect. When I order food and actually have to physically communicate with a worker, there's a much greater chance my order is going to be incorrect. Workers don't want to be there, don't want to speak to customers and aren't focused or not good listeners. I try and do online ordering as much as possible.
UPDATE: The Black Trump Supporter Eugene referred to in this episode IS STILL A TRUMP SUPPORTER!! He’s expressed that Kamala hasn’t done enough to sway his opinion that Trump is the best choice for him. 😏
What's up Carl? Enjoying the podcast fellas....keep it going.
