Ok due to the sheer size of this explosion as seen from space. Everything and i mean everything on earth should be DEAD! There's no way anything would have survived the winds, radiation, earthquakes and tsunami's that followed from that huge detonation, heck there was so much material thrown up that the skies should have blackened and there should be continous global ion storms from all the tiberium and ash in the atmosphere! Which made it all the more funnier when the video just continues straight to the news and the global impact was not focused on even once. xD

It IS possible to destroy temple prime without using the ion cannon, all you have to do is install crossfire 0.88 mod and then build an nod air factory i forgot it's name and then do an air mine drop on temple prime and then detonate the mines, you gotta do it 2 times, or install tiberium essence 2.0 and use 2 nuclear missiles on it

the thing I hated about the ending to this game was if you DO use the tiberium bomb then the newscaster goes ONNNN and ONNNN about how horrible you are but if you do the mission the HARD way and don't use it then the newscaster just says "ok gdi won...the end..." WTF...all my work for no payoff or praise...

An explosion that size would have traveled around Earth multiple times and 100% annihilated everything except bacteria. This would have ENDED the campaign. Sci-fi writers have no fucking sense of scale. :|
