After a 28-year career in executive & project management in aerospace/ tech firms and earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, I switched streams to real estate over 20 years ago. My real estate updates are to explain what is happening to real estate and that is strongly tied to mortgage rates, so those who watch these videos on my newsletter or this channel do care. And as for houses being 4x their “worth” - a homes value is what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller. Due to the laws of supply and demand, there is more and more demand which keeps prices rising. I’m sorry that you don’t feel it’s fair - much of the US is not getting a fair shake due to bad tax policy giving huge tax breaks to the uber rich and corporations. I hope the pendulum will swing back to helping the middle class be strong and raising the poor up into solid middle class.
Yes but mortgage rates don't really matter. Who cares about a FICO score when homes are 5x more than they're actually worth. Just run up your credit cards and enjoy it before the world ends.
