Oh. My. God. Is that what they did with that property. No character. No style. It looks like alien spaceships that landed on our beautiful island. What a blot on the landscape. What a disgrace. And is there still access to the beautiful beach for Bajans?
Yup it's a tribute to Chinese architecture, nice n new but in years to come it's tomorrow's slums and will become a,, 15 minute city.
I think it still looks neat and sophisticated. The blue glass railings compliment the sky and sea in the area and the white paint matches the colour of the original property. Plus with a name like Wyndham, of course they were gonna go big and go with something modern and fresh, not an outdated design from the 1800s (no disrespect to the original designers of the old Sam Lord's Castle, but this IS 2024 after all). Despite all the hate it's getting, it still looks like a pretty nice place to visit.

There are garbage receptacles that are over flowing. Pick up the garbage regularly, keep the city clean. Another thing, these people cannot appreciate anything. What a mess this place is becoming. They have no pride in their surroundings. It is a shame.

You were Complaining about Guyanese in your shorts videos. Why aren't You complaining about Guyanese riding Unicycles Anywhere in Guyana? I'm sure you don't want to compare Again Guyana to UK when you can enjoy Freedom of riding a Unicycle all over Guyana, But you can't in UK.

@guyanaspice6730 although the legislation re unicycle forbid unicycles on public roads , the police don't enforce unless there an issue such as colliding into a third party, but regardless I ride on mountain bike trails in some of the best dramatic landscapes and scenery in UK so not an issue.

I don't think it is a realistic assessment. On our first day of arrival in GT from Toronto Canada in Feb 2018, I and my wife went in this cafe to try their coffee. It was an unpleasant experience; not only the coffee was awful - the overall environment of the coffee shop was depressing. That was the first and last visit to this coffee shop. While leaving the place noticed giant size rats coming out the kitchen area; I wouldn't dine there even if it was free. BTW while in GT watch for three things; potholes, manholes and a**holes. Otherwise Guyana is a beautiful country and very friendly people.
Fair comment, Must admit Ive had a few coffees not up to their usual standard but they do a fresh pot if your not happy, as for the rats , It is wot it is , Guyana is wot it is.
