Too bad it's SO UGLY! If only the company could bring real colors into the countertops. The existing versions are drab, drabber, and BORING!
Yet, let a glass bottle of oil slip from your fingers and fall 20cm onto the countertop and watch your "indestructible" €5000 Dekton island CRACK. Then, feel your heart sink when you try to claim the "lifetime" warranty and they tell you it does not cover "incidents" like yours. In summary, go for natural stone - it won't let you down.
Heard that it will easily crack if you are pounding Chillies with a Mortar and pestle stone pounder or accidentally dropped a pot on it… 😱
Pretty much any composite or nature stone will. It's hard, so it'll resist marring, but that makes it brittle.
🙄 there was really no need to add gendered roles to the beginning. I just sledgehammered up a concrete path and am about to fit my own kitchen, my dad could never.
They're just appealing to a common family dynamic. No one's saying women aren't just as capable as men, if not moreso. It's down to the individual.
Totally agree with initial comment. Re-creating gender roles could and should have been avoided in this situation, there was really no need for it.

Don't be deceived. Beware, this is the worst countertop material you can possibly buy. I spent £2000 on new countertops, installed by a Professional. Within 1 week, tightening of the tap against the countertop led to a crack. If you carry out any research online (which I regret not doing) you will find hundreds of unhappy customers reporting chips and cracks at even the slightest tap of the countertops. It is the only material that cracked during tests carried out by Consumer Reports. Don't fall for their predatory sales tactics and instead go for a well established material.
Seems that you are a pissed of ex employee or a competitor with a low quality product who tries to trash talk Dekton?! Fact is Cosentino and theyr products are market leader. I have also a Dekton countertop in my kitchen and its the best material ever for a kitchen countertop!

@@lorenzovonmatterhorn8324 It seems that you are a bad craftsman! The best material is worthless if the craftsman can't handle it and is not able to transform it into a good product. Our countertop was made by a local stonemason and it's just perfect. Every angle, every joint and everything else is perfectly made. And by the way, Cosentino gives us 25 years warranty for our Dekton countertop!

Therefore, cracks or chipping due to impact from heavy objects, and movement, shifting, settling of support structure below the countertop or flooring surface (cabinets, flooring, foundation etc.), are not covered by this warranty.

Iv just started working with it on a small scale for a fireplace company making curved hearths. Beautiful material but difficult to work with. Only using dry cut diamond blade and flex sander
