The Flutes & Frets Duo is a unique ensemble specialising in a wide scope of repertoire ranging from medieval all the way through to contemporary. Their aim is to play all types of music on the instruments that would have been around at the time of composition.

Johann Georg Weichenberger's Suite in G major This work exists in three manuscripts, Ms Harrach US-NYP11 pg.21-25; A-GO ms. Lautentabulatur Nr.1 and Brno CZ-Bm372. Superb interpretation of this lovely piece of music. In addition, I really like your sound which is not drowned in reverb. (the sound of churches lends itself better to instruments like the organ, but for a flute lute duo, it's more the natural side that is pleasant). Thanks for this magical moment!

The theorbo looks like it has more bass courses than what I'm used to seeing (as in many Thomas Dunford videos). But then, what do I know, I only play modern oboe (although my baroque oboe is on order).
Interesting observation! This theorbo has eight diapason courses which is historically the most common amount. A lot of modern lute players move some of the diapasons to the short neck in order to have more chromatic notes as the longer strings can't be fretted.
