I wonder if john was smart enough to see the parallel between his relationship with Julian and his own estranged relationship with his own father, Alfred. He probably did, but as long as you're high then you probably have the ability to numb the emotional impact of that awareness and live with it. Thanks for including Yoko's "Listen, the Snow is Falling." (14:18). That song has always been very special to me. In 1971, my dad left our family, and I was aged 7. In those days, kids weren't communicated with, and so I was only aware that he hadn't been home for months. The first time I heard this song was at Christmastime, and I was wondering where he was. Yoko sings the line, "between Empire State Building and between Trafalgar Square." But what 7 year-old even today has ever heard of Trafalgar Square? I misheard that lyric as "between Empire State Building and between your father's hair. Listen, the snow is falling everywhere." It gave me an aerial view mental image of my father being in New York City, walking past the Empire State Building, as though I were looking down at the top of his head while snow was landing in his hair. And somehow, I felt this warm connection to him as I stared out the window at it snowing. Whenever I hear this song even now, I can almost recapture that feeling, even at 60 years of age.

Word of advice. If you want subscribers, drop all the cheesy crap like the applause track and especially all the weird AI imagery. That stuff really turns people off.

BEATLE PEOPLE!! If you’re not watching these episodes all the way through, you are really cheating yourself. The clips are MIND BLOWING and I guarantee you’re going to see film and videos of things you have never seen before!!! Go back to the beginning in early September and watch ‘em all!! You will not be sorry! Warren Brown’s production is nothing short of incredible. If you’re new to The Beatles or a hardcore fan, you REALLY have to watch these episodes. Okay, I’ve said enough.
