Hello, I'm trying to integrate PsychoPy with my Emotiv EPOC X headset after watching this video. I'm currently using Emotiv Pro as a user of EmotivPRO Standard Team. Even though I followed the video instructions exactly, it seems that the EEG data is not being saved to the cloud, as I can't retrieve the data from the Emotiv Pro program. In the launcher's "My App" section, it shows a Basic License. Is this the problem? Before getting the app license, I didn't tick the box as shown in the video. Could this be the issue? When I use a license obtained after ticking the box, it doesn't run. How should I resolve this in my case? Additionally, I am already on the Standard Team plan, but when I click on "New Job" in the EmotivPro Analyzer, I get a message prompting me to upgrade from Pro Lite. It seems like the system mistakenly recognizes me as a Pro Lite user, causing these issues. I have checked other TH-cam videos and sent an email to customer support, but it's been 12 hours without a response. I am leaving another comment here to request assistance. Super late to this comment but for those still wondering - you need to hydrate the sensors each time. The EPOC X has special sensors that you can refill without having to take them off your head.

I fully follow the operation steps and the quality of CQ is perfect, but the quality of EQ is always 0% or occasionally fluctuates slightly no matter how I adjust it. May i ask why?😵‍💫

Steps for creating .emotiv_creds file on a Mac 1. Open terminal 2. Navigate to home directory (cd Users/<username) (it may already be in home directory when you open terminal) 3. open a new file by typing vi .emotiv_creds 4. Enter the client id and client secret into the file client_secret xxx client_id xxx 5. type the following to save and exit the file :x 6. <optional sanity check> type the following in the terminal to list the files in the directory and confirm your .emotiv_creds file is saved with no other extensions ls -a 7. Close terminal and run PsychoPy experiment

You junkie company requires additional expensive licensing purchase to access to these API. And to make it worse, you don’t immediately enable our access to EEG data stream after purchasing the additional license but instead requires us to fill some form and wait for countless days till someone contact you. And what’s worse? The one who contacted you is not helping anything but instead asking lot more questions. I wish your company go bankrupt soon

Be aware the emotive dos not give you free access to the raw eeg data. You have to rent a rediciously high priced abo for that. This prevents building an open source community around that company
