*Please React New Released Sci-Fi, Historical Epic Film From New Cinematic Universe, Movie - " Kalki 2898 AD" , i highly request you.* 🙏
Hey Rocketeers! Jacob here again! Filming the cameo for the Ghostface panel was an absolute blast and I'm honored to have gotten to take part in it! Whether I'm at the convention next year or not, I can't wait to do it all over again. It'll be a scream!
Is there any truth to the rumors that Neca is hoping to get the license to make Battlestar Galactica the original TV show's version figures ?
Note sure if it is truth at a corporate level, but the people who work there would love to do it.
Scheduling is the true BBEG 😂
MAJORETTES MEANS WHAT..WHAT ABOUT..
Loved this movie so much. I walked into the theater ready to fall asleep. That movie was pure energy drink!!! Also little side note- my mom worked on the 90s Ultraman making the costume for the Dada monster.
😳 your Mom worked on a monster suit?! Aaaaamazing
I watched that portion of the oscars for the same reason. So cool, I gasped. They had a gold figure with a little bow tie too.
I bumped into your podcast on Apple Podcasts accidentally, I think it was a “Barbarian” movie review I was looking for. Now you are on my quite short list of my most favorite movie related podcasts. You guys ARE really interesting to listen to, thank you.
Loved the movie and laughed through your comments 😂❤
Thanks for watching. Glade we kept it funny!
It's good to hear you all again. Fantastic episode as usual. I completely agree with the mini Godzilla Minus 1 review. So damn good. I have felt the same way. I feel blessed every time some new Godzilla stuff comes out. I saw it in color and minus color. Loved them both. I hope they are both on the bluray.
you still workin on the walking dead any with the spin offs?
I am now. Just got a job as the AMC In House VFX Producer. We are tackling The Ones Who Live now.
@@launchpadpod can’t wait for the show bro 🤞🏻
Jacob here! I am so honored that I got to participate in that contest! Congrats to everyone that played too! They did great! Definitely looking forward to my legacy role in the sequel next year...
WOAH! Jacob! You were definitely the hero of the night!
@@launchpadpod Thanks! Is there any chance that tape will be published? I wanna relive that night over and over again
Woot woot Letterbox! Went and followed you there 😄
I agree that in general seeing through things is a pervy power. However, I literally the other day was wanting to get around a large car and thought if only I could have Hitman (video game) xray vision to see past/keep track of objects.
Baahubali 1&2 by same director
The movie only had a budget of $70million which is not nothing but if a Hollywood movie was made in this scale the budget would be at least 150 million. Thats why the CGI can look a bit rough at times.
A la lutteuse noire quand elle était au sol un coup de pied à la tête pour la sonnée avec une chance de la battre ,car avec une lutteuse forte et physique le point faible c’est la tête bon combat
Or you could just say ‘Triple R’ It is really hard to pick one high-five moment but I think it would be at some point during the bridge rescue. One because it’s so great, and two because I did a turn when watching because I thought the story was going to be just Raju pursuing Bheem but that scene is when I realized that while that plot was happening they were also going to be friends before it played out. I do really love Raju’s intro scene especially after he gets back to the outpost and goes back to his post. I can see how it would quell a protest because this motherfucker ready prepared and ready to do it all again to the next person who throws a rock.
*Let me explain the G@ndhi thing a bit. About half or more of Indians don't like G@ndhi but they never talk trash about G@ndhi because of being Politically correct because he is given status of "F@ther of Nation". G@ndhi have done few good things but he have done some terrible things for example he has a fair share in Partition of India where millions of Indians died and their daughters, Wives, Mothers got G@ng r@ped and torturd. Also because of G@ndhi and his undemocratic approach, Indias first PM "Chacha" became PM inspite of getting 0 votes and Other Man "P@tel" got all the votes yet he withdrew the PM seat because G@ndhi blackmailed him to make "Chacha" PM who was dear to G@dhi. So because of that India have always been hostile to majority of Indians and India couldn't grow as fast as it could have grown. Corruption, Poverty, Crimes, Trrism and what not u name it. So these are things that caused people to don't like G@ndhi. There are other of some few secrets of G@ndhi which make people dislike him like He used to sleep with a relative ch!ld for doing s*xual experiments. I am not saying it's true. it's what I have heard from experts so I am just laying out things which I heard. I don't dislike G@ndhi bcoz he have done some great things but I don't love him either for obvious reasons. This may be the reason why Director didn't show G@ndhi in this film RRR.* If u wan't to understand Indian politics then stay away from English Language Media Press Channels. It's not easy to find legit fact based sources about learning politics in India.
*Also british people used to throw Indian babies into water to hunt crocodiles and stuff. Also Winston Churchil tortured and killed more Indians than Hitler killed jews. So there's that.*
we knew there was a LOT to unpack there so we tried to tread lightly but it was interesting since US education and understanding of India's independence almost solely focuses on Ghandi and glosses over many of these other heroes. RRR has been a gateway and opened up a lot of history to discover.
*Actually the songs don't explain the plot, It's all metaphorical and poetic. It sounds bad and funny in english subs.*
I would watch this movie. Great episode! Loved listening to Roger nerd out with you. I just realized he's the voice of Mojo Jojo and now I'm nerding out!
Any plans for.... Sardar udham... Movie????
SARDAR UDHAM REVIEW NEXT PLEASE
Happy bday Rocketeers. Thanks for all the years of laughs and amazing content. I'm excited for the next show!
Thank you for all your support.
Happy Birthday Launchpad! Also couldn't 100% agree more about franchises not having direct ties. Whether that's characters or sometimes even plot.
HOLLYWOOD MARVEL LOSING ITS GRAP.. NOW INDIA IS READY TO GIVE HUMANITY INSPIRED MOVIES ❤
Yes 😊❤🥰🤗😘😍☺️🕉️🇮🇳
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie 🖤
Starts 5:04 10:30 35:50 Yeah they were brutal 39:26 fun1
Any criticism about this movie is nothing but cultural shock. They are first time witnessing INDIAN CINEMA which is genre in itself. Thank you for reviewing it. Now watch SARDAR UDHAM. Better than RRR.
@@pamanudavy Don't talk about Cinema when entertainment is your only metric. Schindlers list was never mainstream, Saving private ryan was never mainstream Shawshank redemption was never mainstream. RRR is a very very good movie. But maturity and artistic level of SARDAR UDHAM is unparalleled. Just the way the movie was designed. Both are different but SARDAR UDHAM is better Period
@@pamanudavy Do you live in cave of illusion bro?? Terminator and Terminator judgement day came out in 80s and 90s Alien, Apollo 11, psycho , Matrix, Star wars all came out in 90s. People's Brain doesn't change in 30 years timespan. Darwin's soul crying in heaven. Point is Indian audience doesn't appreciate SARDAR UDHAM type of mature movies. We are moving towards the point of inflection, during covid and bombarding of content over ott compelled a part of Indian audience to look at world cinema, but majority of them still like cheap masala movies, which is the result of fan worshipping. But after few decades this will also change.
Now watch SARDAR UDHAM movie. Better than RRR. This movie is exceptional content from INDIA. It is a must watch.
38:53 no , they don’t sing. They have playback singers usually in Indian movies , though some actors can sing. These ones didn’t for the movie.
The whole bridge scene summarize the plot of the movie Raju came for country which represent flag and bheem came from child later they exchange their missions
Nachoo nachoo won oscar😊😊😊
Bheem cud easily lift up the bike during the forest fight cos those bikes in the 20s were around 50kg and were used during 1st world War.
yeah he can also toss it in the air like its fucking toothpick or something
It's not shaman magic antidote. It's called "Ayurveda" ancient Indian system of medicine from nature.
Good to know, thanks!
It's not a pinata and human pyramid. It's a religious HINDU festival called janmashtmi' that has been celebrated since millenias which marks the birth of "GOD KRISHNA".
The two lead actors are best buddies in real life too. Ram Charan and Jr.NT Rama Rao. They are neighbours too.
Thats awesome to know.
Real revolutionaries that give their life to the pursuit of freedom do not fit well with the conciliatory figure of Ghandi. It's tone deaf. This film is for all Indians, Muslim and hindu, fighting against British oppression. Pretty simple.😉
thanks for the clarification as we admitted we are very ignorant on the actually history but had lots of fun with the movie.
@The Launchpad Podcast I hope you didn't think I was nagging at you specifically! It's very cool that you are watching different kinds movies. Its just that some people have thought a lot of uncharitable things about the film, that don't make sense when you actually watch it.
@@just-so-were-crystal-clear5245 Not at all. We invite our listeners to give us more information that context makes the film better. I had read all sorts of things about this movie and had no idea what was true or accurate so getting any information to clarify helps. Much appreciated.
It's like that game they made on God warrior like Zeus Shiva etc can't put Jesus and Buddha
I dare say, James Cameroon would nt be able to make a good blockbuster using CGI within a budget of 72 mil.
Movie was less than 50millions usd, the promotion and covid cost them huge
Next Indian movie should be "Sardar Udham".
*welcome to indian film industry.* *These are the top movies you should watch from India after RRR in Telugu language* *1. Andhadhun..murder mystery hindi* *2. Tumbaad.. Horror..hindi* *3.Sardar udham..history..hindi* *4.Enthiran..robot theme..Tamil* *5. Bahubali part 1 &2..telugu* *6.Uri ..action..hindi* *7. Eega..film on fly..telugu* *original languages are mentioned along with films.*
Wow a whole new world if cinema to explore. Thank you for the suggestions. Interested in the horror titles for sure.
@@launchpadpod *thank you for the reply...* *You will love Andhadun, sardhar udam for sure. These 2 moves will change your personal list of top 10 movies.* *Bahubali & eaga are directed by RRR director.* *Waiting for your reviews.*
I'm going to add all of these to my watch list. I watched Mangal Pandey and Lagaan in school. I loved them both and wanted to see more Indian cinema but didn't know where to start.
@@PowderDaRabbit *After watching them, feel free to ask for more. I am sure you will enjoy them.*

Bheem unleashing the jungle in that party was the biggest fuck ya and high five moment in the history of cinema for me😂
so baddass!
If I’m not wrong the one on the right is Aaron right? Damn the inaccuracies in his recollection 😂😂😂. But he’s funny!
That's part of our shtick, try to do it from memory. Glad you had fun.
Great review 👏.... 👏
Thank you for listening!
SOOOO much bromance in this episode it's infectious! LOVE IT!!!
Love listening to legends just nerd out. Reminds you their fans just us much as we are of them. Wanted to edit my comment just to be a nerd and say I was annoyed out of my mind by the Danny in the miniseries version. My sister and I rented all of the Stephen King miniseries from our local library one summer. Our favorite was Rose Red. Its not great, some things haven't aged well, but I'm a forever fan of the Winchester house because of it.
Now a new movie, The Audition (1999) is my favorite thriller. Not many movies make me scream out loud. That did and I was on a plane when I was watching. The flight attendant came by to check on me.
The pimp was in Godzilla Final Wars and a Jersey sandwich is a hoagie. Great ep! I'm excited for the RRR episode.
