The death of George Floyd in Minneapolis sparked a wave of protests and civil unrest worldwide, notably in St. Louis, a city already marked by a strained relationship with its police force. A Threat to Justice explores this unrest through interviews with police and activists and footage from demonstrations throughout the city.

Something beautiful happened here. A few thousand people marched in my city to shine a spotlight on racial injustice and police brutality. No arrests. No looting. No rioting. Police marched with protestors, the mayor took a knee in solidarity and all opened their minds, hearts, and mouths to draw attention to an ugly issue we can no longer ignore.
