Ground clearance is 7” on FAT version. You are right that our trikes have more parts, but only that can make geometry of steering and suspension perfect, our trikes are not made as compromise but to be ultimate fully suspended trikes. Maintenance is important of course, but doesn’t we all need it 🤪

We do our best to build them as close to indestructible, and once we get to the point where we eventually destroy something, we analyze it and fix it so you don't have to think about it. These trikes in the video were only cleaned up and we took them to Spezi in Lauchringen. The video is just a few minutes long but the shooting took over eight hours of brute harrasment. As you said, if they can cope with what you saw in the video, there's not much left you can't do with it. Thank you for your encouraging comment. And we don't cheat: the trikes in the video are not specially reinforced or tuned in any way, these are all "normal" production units.

Good question, it is really depending on customers and their preferences. BUT 😊 now we have in standard offer 3x24” fully suspended trike.

The mesh seat can be purchased through our dealer network or directly from us (depending on your location), The seat QR are made by CH.JI and are 6mm in diameter (three different lengths depending on position and seat type) and there is no list for torque specs - too many variables involved and even though we did try to be as exact as possible, we found that such a list would be more confusing than useful.

The design of the Wild One suspension/steering system is designed as a balanced compromise to keep it stable and predictable even at speeds over 100km/h. Unfortunately, it's not possible to make a simple mechanical design that would be equally "light" under all circumstances, with all rider's body positions, all rider's weight, and it's much more important to have a predictable steering input than a trike that would just go it's own way and feel "twitchy", especially in some critical situations :) Wild One comes with a choice of three different hardshell seat sizes, and the larger the rider, the larger the seat and the CoG of the larger seat shifts the weight backwards to keep the system as balanced as possible. Smaller riders need the smaller seats and the weight must be shifted forward to compensate for shorter X-Seam automatically shifting the weight forward, but if the seat is more reclined, some of that weight is distributed more evenly to the rear end. There is a huge variety of possible settings for everyone.

@@stein-trikes I know this because I have ridden several models. Rod End Bearing Connector method steering has no choice but to be harder than the model using headset. And I think the Wild One's high-speed stability is good. Other models using Rod End Bearing Connector method are unstable at high speed. Models using headsets also have good high-speed stability. lol However, cattrike models and performer models are excluded hahahaha I am currently designing a model that combines the double wish method and the headset method with Solidworks. The design is almost complete. will be making soon Very simple. I will upload a production video soon. Please advise. lol It will be equipped with a 200mm spring shock with a rebound-adjustable air cylinder. If it fails, I will buy Wild One again HAHAHAHA 🤣🤣

Oli sport plus motor 36V/250W nominal and 720W maximum power with 83Nm of torque, it has color TFT display with solar sensor with automatic light switch mode and 4 torque sensors in the axle which provides precise measurements of input torque and starts immediately when you push the pedals. Really great and proven motor.

Rock Shox Monarch is a good choice in this length, with 38mm travel at 165mm length. The Edge is supposed to be available in February or so, at least that was the information we got from Oli in December last year. Theoretically, we could get a sample unit, but we prefer not to experiment with new things until the manufacturer goes through all the steps and gives a full approval and warranty on the product. The Sport Plus motor is something that simply works, comes with reputation, reliability and minimal risk. Who needs another headache when there is a way to get a great system? Once we're sure the Edge is all it should be, we definitely plan to include it into our offer.

We don't offer hub motors, but it can be retrofitted by a bike shop or owner and our trikes can be ordered as kits (rolling chassis with or without wheels) you just have to figure out what you want and let us know.

This one is a complex one, and the most accurate answer is dependent on the rear wheel and seat size... If there's a 28" rear wheel and the largest seat, the weight is shifted backwards with a minimal gap between the seat and the wheel when the rear suspension is compressed. With the smallest seat and the smallest rear wheel, that gap inreases and in certain circumstances, some wheel slippage can occur. I know, it's a rotten compromise, but in most cases people tend to take something with them and usually place those things on the rear rack, adding some extra weight where it's needed, just over the rear wheel. But, since it's not a racing trike, almost no one goes with it completely unloaded. Also, the more you recline the seat, more weight gets shifted backwards.

Excellent information here. At some point, could you do a quick video on how to choose the appropriate wheel size? And which wheel sizes combine well on a modular trike that allows you to choose any combination you wish.

If you look a bit closer, you'll see that the trike in the video is an E-assist version with an integrated 250W OLI Sport Plus motor, so, yes, we already have a tested and proven solution, and my own trike has also this same motor :) We do have a plan to make a video about it, and since we use a Modular System, we can easily incorporate it with every wheel size configuration :) For more information, email us or contact our US distributor (links in the description)

These are 16"(349) front and 26"(559) wheels, and the front tyres are Kevlar belted (not foldable) Marathons, but I think that these are not produced anymore. BTW, both front and rear are custom made wheels. It's really hard to recommend a specific brand, we have our favourite ones, both for road and off-road use 😁 We also sell the ones we build as spare or upgrade parts, just an email away... 😉

Nothing if the suspension and steering are designed properly... If the steering rods are inadequately positioned, either too long or too short, the toe in will either decrease or increase, respectively :)
