I enjoyed a Jogan Blossom Hazy IPA. It was a Ube-flavored hazy IPA with floral notes. Its made by Garage Brewing Company. It was very good!

It is a gated community. I don’t believe it is open to the public. You can always try the restaurant there then go have a look at the lights.

We had dinner at Bella Vista then headed over and checked out the lights. Great fish and chips on Fridays!

Good walk-around video! I was there in March 2024 for extractions, implants and a temporary bridge at SANI Dental. Spent three nights at the Hotel Cielito Lindo in the Medi-Plaza right next to SANI Dental. Cannot say enough good things about the experience. Totally professional, friendly and the efficiency is amazing too! I will return in a month or two to complete the work. About the US side closing the gate, that's normal. Experienced it on the three occasions I crossed on foot there. What they do is let only enough people in to fill the space between the gate and the actual doors to the inspection building. Then when that bunch is about processed they let in another bunch. My longest wait was 2 hours in the line, but that was late in the day and the line stretched well beyond the covered sidewalk.
Such a nice place. Are you going back to the Colorado Sate Fair this year by any chance?
Unfortunately we will not be able to go to the fair this year. I have been seeing the adds for it on TV and I look forward to attending in the future.

Just got a crown at Aloha Dental. Wonderful people there and glasses from the same lady that owns Aloha. Again, wonderful lady. I actually came for gallbladder surgery. She found my surgeon in San Luis for me. I cannot emphasize enough how good these people are.
how was parking outside? Easy to find and pay for it? Or had to circle around?
on the US side there is a large parking lot. It cost 6 dollars for all day parking. We have never had a problem with parking. We park and walk to Mexico. Its about 1/8 of a mile to the gate.
I can just smell the leather when you go through the hallways 😄 I grew up in algodones now I live in Florida 😆 I see it so different now as an adult Next time I go back is going to be for my meds 😂 ♥️🇲🇽

That place is a shell of what it used to be. The place looks cool, but food tastes horrible now.
We just had the salad bar and small personal pizza 2 days ago it was good. We enjoy going there very old fashioned and nostalgic.

Yes, the lime moved very fast. About 20 min in total standing in it.
Note too, not many Cars.
I love going Los Algodonas because it's like park and walk across boarder. Your in Town, food, bars , shopping, all there. Other places like Reo Calarado, Mexacali, got walk a mile. Everything spread out. Then There's Dental. I head for Food! Shrimp Tacos! Chicken Fajetas, Wevos Rancheros . Margaritas, gambling. Music. Nice, Nice people.

I am headed there soon to have a sinus lift. Then going back to have full all on 4 implants top and bottom. Best of luck on your journeys
Which dentist did you choose
I was there in February, 2024. Gonna go back prob 2 more times for the dentist.
Love this one, wish it was a bit slower is my only complaint, kind of hard to take it all in.

I love the place. I been there once this year and twice last year. Dental work Next time is June. I think I'll get glasses then. I always drive in, tho'. I like to stay over there. Not my first time in Mexico. More like 50th. If you drive, get Mexico insurance. Your US insurance doesn't cover you over there.
My AAA insurance covered me, but got tell them .

You are correct you can no longer use a birth certificate to show proof of US citizen ship. You must have a passport or pass card among others such as tribal card, military I’d Etc. @@ricardoberti892
@@indy7788 Well, I'd have to say it's kind of yes and no on a birth certificate. A US Citizen by Birth may not be refused entry to the USA. The ACLU has a page on that. My brother tested this recently when he had to find dental care quickly and did so at a border city, walking across after parking on the USA side. Returning that same day he showed his original birth certificate and driver license for that US State (not an "Enhanced" type). The officer argued and said he was going to refuse entry. Understand my brother has a swollen face and an ice pack, some bleeding at the gums. It's all rather obvious what is going on. He told the officer he knew the law, that he could not be refused and proceeded to walk past. Nothing happened. Keep in mind too that we wasn't carrying anything but his wallet, car keys and cell phone. No, I would never suggest anyone try that themselves. I get why he did not, there was no time to obtain a passport and no money for a USA dentist. But outside of these urgent circumstances, why take the risk of an argument at the border? The other possibility to keep in mind is that passports can be lost or stolen. It does happen and US Citizens can still re-enter the USA. But it is very much up to the discretion of the officers at the border just how difficult and time consuming re-entry will be. Helps to have photos of all documents as a backup. I travel with a set of backup documents kept apart from my Passport Card. Never had to depend on them, it's just a "Just In Case" sort of thing.

Thank you for posting this. I grew up here. My parents were drug addicts and I blocked out most of my childhood. One thing I do remember is the 'never never land' park. I called it that because when I was little there used to be a kind of theme park there. It was story book themed. I recently remembered so I am looking it up and found out they took down the never never land stuff.
Wow I like the upgrade on the beach area,grew up across the street from the park, 1965 to 1980,my kids and grandchildren were there with me and it didn't look like this.
Ill be there February 12th for my dental appointment. I love it there..

I just came back from Knott's a few days ago and I went on this ride and loved it! I got soaked but my boyfriend and I were happy to cool off after a warm day.
It is my favorite ride at Knott’s. It is a classic that I remember from my youth.
It’s always fun to step into Los Algodones Mexico. This was a Sunday afternoon and very quiet. We stopped over for lunch but ended up at the Quechan Casino and had some lunch.
It was a nice warm day in Washington!
My parents were original owners on Pico. I loved watching this grow year after year. 🥰

I just got back from Los Algodones yesterday.. It was so Hot!, but I love this town.. Got some dental work done, Im headed back in February and i anticipate it being crowded.... Before I left yesterday I took a picture of downtown at around 6:30Am it was deserted..a little sad considering how lively and busy it normally is.
It is a cool town. I enjoy going there as well.

We were there in February and it was all good. Need to have. A passport to come back into the US. It is most likely very warm there this time of year.

Americans going there should at least tip the people who are begging for money as you make your way out of their lands. After all, you’re getting dental work done for way less than what your greedy corrupt government charges. That’s the least you can do. IMO - the people of Mexico are so good to you Americans and the people of Mexico work so hard BOTH IN AMERICA AND IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY. You all don’t appreciate these people enough. In fact you dare call them immigrants when you are the immigrants yourselves soon as you cross that border. 😏
