Small tip: press R when doing foundations too use the zoom mode. With this you can place up to 10 foundations in a row at once. Whilst i used neatly organized lines from the beginn on I really like the joy you have with wildley placing your conveyors down. Keep having fun! 😊

Again use the settlement tab. You can use the settlement tab to do everything. You need to set priorities on buildings to 1 or 2 if you want the Villagers to work there, also you need to set each villagers priority to 1 or 2 for whatever you what them to do first like farming, crafting, researching etc. The farm is built instantly, you just need to go to manage tab on the front of the farm and select what priority of crops u what first and how many. You can plant seeds to if you what. The hoe is needed first to prepare a spot and weed it. You need to make a Bloomery and smelt copper, tin and Bronze. All tier 1 tools and weapons use only these materials. You will not need iron until later in the game. Get some mines set up near the tin and copper nodes. At the workbench, it will show u if you have in storage the right amount of stuff to build an item, but you have to have it on you, or it will not make it. Build a trapper camp to. Then the villagers will take care of the traps. You need to set someone priority to 1 on hunting. Check their abilities and see if they have a hunting skill. Same for cooking. Deers are hard to kill. You have to hit them in the head. I save right before I'm going to kill one, then reload if I miss. Good for practice. Also get closer to them until u see the eye icon pop up. Then shoot before the run. Good Vid

I just started playing this game to 16hrs in. It is a lot of fun. I started twice. First run I sucked, So I watched a beginner's/tips vid and started again lol. I have 3 villagers. I gave 2 of them shields/reinforced clubs and 1 a bow. You have to give the bow man a quiver or he will just put the arrows back in the stockpile and fight with a club. I learned the hard way. Still give your bow men a reinforce club, so they can fight back when someone runs up on them. I'm able to destroy all raids with this set up so far. I have them all just as reservist. I need them working when there are no raids lol.

Priority numbers are from 1 to 9, 1 being the highest priority. Set your research table to Priority 1, so someone will always do the research. You need to bring a companion when you attack Bandits. Give him a shield and a reinforced club. He will tank while you shoot them. You don't need designated guards at this time. Just Make all your Villagers Reservist and you can hit the "Call to Arms" command on the settlement tab. Make sure you give all your settlers weapons and tools, definitely an axe. Those Buckle looking things are straps. You can make them in a Toolmaker. But they need Iron. Right now the best way to get straps is kill Bandits. But this will cause you to get raids fun fun. lol Oh and those River Reeds, I always called them Cat Tails lol.

Your people will take damage and most likely will not die. They usually only die if they recover and then are attacked immediately again. Just look at their status and it will say if they are dead, most of the time it just said idle which means they are just knocked out lol.

You should have looked at a Beginner guide on this game, it is pretty complex to just start not knowing anything. Here are some tips. Young trees and saplings give wood/sticks. Trees give logs. You need to setup priorities on your buildings and People you hire. The NPC will do everything. They all have different perks to do better at certain task, but they will do any task. You should set the Research Table to priority 1 and set 1 of your people's priority to 1 on it. They will get the resources for whatever u want to research as long as the resources are near buy. This goes for building, cooking and so on. Read books and give books to your NPC for which ever task they are good at. If you travel on roads, you will sprint farther and faster. Make shields for yourself and NPC. They help a ton when fighting. You can eat 3 different foods. Meat give health and Berries give stamina. You need to try different foods to see which give you the best results. Good Vid.
