This week I finish mount the seat base! Quite a challenge as the seat mounts to the tank; after spending most of the day staring at the tank and seat base i think I've come up with a smart solution!

What I was seeing is that the two arks weren't complete. The ark across the top of the fender was complete, but the wheel arch had that change up by the top of the tire. From what I could tell, it looked like the entire arch at the top needed to rotate down in the front about the contact point just above the tire. The top arch of the fender was complete, but the wheel well arch was not, and both arches should be continuous.

Probably be best for him to come see it, basics are 454 bigblock, built box with highstall and trans brake, built diff discs all round caged, there's soooo much man, like it's a legit drag car. But, swap the spool out for an LSD and you got a damn fast road car!

If your new filler neck was at the front of the tank instead of the rear you could easily fill up without getting off the bike ( and make the top of the cap into an ash tray... ) just a thought.
