Hi my friends! My name is Lawrence (Larry) Ogden. I am a commercial / fine art photographer, drone videographer and full time traveler. I work quite a bit on the road but love sharing personal projects and a few commercial projects as I explore this beautiful country. The folks that operate this location are stellar! We had our car battery die in the parking lot recently and the owner of the store came out to help without hesitation! We know where to buy our e-bikes now! ❤

Good stuff. So many ways to do eggs. My scramble is an opposite approach - eggs with nothing added and barely mixed up, fat pat of butter in the pan, constant stir and scrape on low heat.You may remember the little maple paddle I made for the purpose. I might have to get around to an official seasoning of my small pan. I get quite a bit of sticking on the stainless one I use

Extremely good video, it looks much better than what it is, I spend a little time there, beware of these horrible no-see-ums they will get you and you will end up with skin stinging cluster and the pain is unbearable for couple of days, bring Benadryl itching sprayer also the car noise at night is unbearable bring ear plugs against noise., people are nice and friendly. it is very safe. .
well thanks for the comment Emilla. So,, no see ums? Well that comes with anywhere if you visit southern Fl. i know not fun but worth the beauty in my opinion. Re that RV park, its the best in the keys ( aside from local flora and fauna) noise? Lapping waves and friendly folks is what i enjoyed. happiness or the opposite happens wherever you are. Seems like 4 or 6 decades ago there were a lot more tent sites and grass. It has always been a great place to stay and go paddling, sailing, fishing and walking. I wish the new owners well!
SITE #100 !! We've been going there to that campsight for well over 35 yrs! Beautiful video of our home away from home during Lobster Season the first week of August OGDEN! I remember well, participating in "The Lobster Hop"! Oh the memories. And our whole family misses John Dunn, who passed away at 89 in 2013. He was as much a welcoming fixture at Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge as Joanne the owner was! We used to bring him mangoes every season, and he traded us snapper he'd caught in his little old boat he had. The times have changed, but this lovely vacation spot is still the most welcoming and charming that there is!
