Hi! How about if they bloom but only for about 2 weeks !! I had planted it a Sioux crape myrtle about 3 months ago and by end of June I saw a lot of buds starting to form ,, it blooms but it lasts only two weeks or so after that !!!blooms start to fade out and leaves are kind of shrink if that’s the word

I want my plant crepe myrtle to grow tall like a tree.

This looks like growth coming from the tree’s roots. This is a stress response. Using chemicals to kill these sprouts/suckers can harm your trees.

I live in Florida and we get plenty of sun I have a 3 ft crepe myrtle tree well I put it in full sun and the leaves all turned brown 💔💔 what did I do wrong?

Dig them up, wrap the roots in damp potting compost, offer oak trees for sale on the internet. Make money out of them. Meanwhile plant a few in a line and sell them when they get big. Uour kids will gain most using this idea.

What about the red black diamond crêpe myrtle? it looks like a deep red and black.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to find a chemical to put on them and I was afraid it would damage my lawn so you’ve kind of relieved me of that stress. We have big oak trees and this year the acorns were much worse, and the squirrels did a lousy job of finding them.

After using a sandbur pesticide? How long do I need to wait until I can mow the grass? Will they spread even more if I mow my yard three weeks later?

I poisoned all my sandbur patches about three weeks ago with a pesticide specifically for that. If I mow, is it just going to spread them around my yard more?

Hi. I'm not sure if you're still answering questions, but I am planning on putting a crawling succulent down for a walkway on the side of the house where there is just dirt. I'll need to till up the dirt and add amend to it. Weeds grow out there so I want to add pre emergent a few weeks before we plant them. How should I go about this? After tilling just apply the granular on top and wait? Mix with the amend?

It beats a ground cover one has to pay a lot for, and it's so low to the ground you don't even have to mow it. I have tomatoes and peppers growing close by, there are zero issues. At least it doesn't get a foot tall every time it rains.

Fantastic analysis! Going to move some current 360 spray sprinkler heads that water way too much sidewalk in my front yard to corners, 180's and a couple of 360 shorter throws to cover each side of my house walk way to side walk. Was thinking of rotors but your explanation is exactly what the company I use suggested when I brought it up. Will be more heads but not any more wasted water. From decades of pop up experience at my home, know I will have to pay attention and keep them adjusted but what I have in mind will overlap enough to not have those pesky spots that don't get covered. And not waste so much water. Biggest challenge is the grass between the curb and sidewalk. Have 180's but they waste way too much water on the curb as well as the sidewalk and thinking about moving them about 4" to 6" away from the curb and may go the the rectangles. Considering strip pop ups and know from having one in a grass strip by my driveway and know they can work but the way they are designed may not cover well enough.

Once they get in and make a nest or colony, how to you eliminate them? My friend has a fungus gnat infestation in their newly built home. We believe it is due to weep holes being buried below ground level during construction. And the lawn being severely over watered where it makes contact with the brick. We dug out all the weep holes that were buried, so they can do their job. Will that be enough?

When we had goats they would over graze them now I have a problem so I am over grazing them and going to try rock salting stumps

Nice you mentioned the nail in the wall...not many home owners are going to spend upwards of $100 for a "pro" balancer when the might maybe sharpen their blade once a year.

For a small home which is better, rotor sprinkler heads or spray ones? I have spray ones but they make a rotor one for my small 1,000 ft² lawn. They look cooler than the spray heads. I live in a warm season area or sometimes called a transition season too. I can afford to change them out from a spray to a rotor but I don't know what is best. If it helps I have a combination of fescue and Bermuda lawn. I really appreciate your videos. Thank you.

What type of insecticide do you use for mosquito control. I own and operate a pest control business in south florida. I've been using talstar, but not good results.

I have tall fescue in north fort worth Texas and I always bag it I get better stripes that way.

This is just not good information. None of what is described will work. Mowing does nothing to them. Pulling them up can make them worse unless you dig down a few inches and pull them out. They will still come back, it just takes longer.
