Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the Abbott Dog Wisdom Channel. We have 2 Husky Goldendoodles, Shadow and Bandit, that we love like family. You might be thinking, I've never heard of a Husky Goldendoodle, how does that work? Well, when a Momma Husky and a Daddy Goldendoodle get together, they make some interesting doodles. Both Shadow and Bandit come from the same parents but different litters, so we refer to them as brothers sometimes.
Shadow is currently the darker one with more like thick human hair in that he's quite soft and has just the one coat and sheds about the same as if you or me were that hairy. I say currently because he kind of shifts colors depending on the time of year or maybe moon phase or perhaps just at a whim.
Bandit is lighter now mostly gray with a really weird coat of fur. It's like a super dense coat that doesn't full on shed all at once but continually throughout the year. He's mostly just gotten lighter from his days as a puppy.

Motion Sensor Lights to Protect You and Your Dogs
When we first got Shadow and needed to take him out at night, it was a little creepy with how dark the yard appeared. You would frequently hear things rustling in the bushes and with a young pup that wants to investigate everything it made for an interesting outing. So I bought and installed a small battery powered motion sensor on a pole we have and it changed our lives. The LED light came on quickly and you didn't need to flip a switch, then go outside, then remember to flip the switch back off later. So when some hardwired motion sensor lights came on sale, I jumped at the opportunity and picked up two. Having the motion sensor lights on the pole simplified the going out process and even helps with the security of the home. The lights that we have will trigger when cats and larger things come through, so you know that there may be another animal sitting in your yard prior to Shadow and Bandit going outside and things getting exciting.
I highly recommend getting some motion sensor lights if you take your dogs outside in the dark and have ever wondered, "What was that sound?" as the lights may be just enough to let you know.

Our Dogs, Shadow and Bandit, have gone through quite a few Hartz Dura Play Bacon Scented toys. The balls can last a good bit if we play our part and monitor the Boys while they play. If we let them go though, there's a 50-50 shot that Shadow will destroy the ball and make a mess. I was surprised that these had a foam inner, as opposed to being air filled with a tougher rubber or perhaps a rubbe...

You should prob stop giving your dog it’s water bowl literally right next to that electrical strip bro
LOL, It's shocking that you would mention that. It's a good thing it's connected to a gfci so even if some nightmare sequence of events occurs the worst thing that would happen is the humidifier shutting off.
It does not matter who drunk the water, just make sure they have water.
The weird part is that they will only drink from a "certain" bowl. So if we use a couple identical bowls, they'll drink out of one but not the other, and leave another bowl in the kitchen in case of emergency. They also have water bowls in their crates, but they seem to treat them as backup bowls, and they drink the water from the other's crate. So Shadow will drink Bandit's crate water and Bandit will drink Shadow's when the crates are open. They sure keep us on our toes though, because a random bucket of water at a dog park will be like finding gold for them sometimes.

What breed of dog?
Shadow is half husky and half golden doodle. So a quarter poodle and a quarter golden retriever.

Bearded Collie? Pawfect no matter!!
They are both half Husky and half Golden Doodle, so a quarter Golden Retriever and a quarter Poodle. Shadow can definitely look like a Bearded Collie when his hair gets long. Bandit has the same parents but definitely has fur different than Shadow's which is more like hair. Thanks for the comment.

Normally, I wave him over and he jumps off the couch and gets his ears rubbed the way he likes it. But this time was weird, like he was too comfortable to leave the couch, so I had to get the camera rolling.

LOL, ya, Bandit's a little bit of a cowardly lion, but he's a good boy. I had to edit out the part when Shadow, our other dog, just walked right over it without issue trying to figure out what Bandit was afraid of but it was longer than a minute.

Yeah. We tried giving him a bigger bowl but he didn't like it. So we just refill it alot.
