They should allow foreign investors to also invest in this city, it will make it easier to come up with enough vertical structures

Instead of improving infrastructure in NRB, they are building a mega city project which we aren't sure if it will be abandoned anytime soon 😒

is this a 50 year old project to come,started by kibaki then uhuru and now ruto and still nothing and yet talking about jkia airport revamp while others start mega airport projects all these bcoz of leaders who are clueless,can you give kenyans a break
Biggest wastage of the public resources. It is almost 10 years of pumping money into this project and when you drive on Mombasa Rd, apart from the letters telling you about Konza Technopolis, there is nothing visible to suggest a city is being developed!Tatu city was started around same time, when you go to Tatu City, you see real development. Konza is just a show piece, a true wastage of the little public resources we have!
It takes time. This is an entire city. You can't develop it in 10 years. It's easy to get people to build structures there but will they be the right people? Remember this is a technopolis and not just any other city. Wacha igrow pole pole as long as they're adhering to the building codes. I love vile wanatumia underground cabling na pia hakuna vibanda huku. I hope that remains the case.
@@chrisamoi8663 have you ever been to the said city? Have you ever been to Tatu City? How comes Tatu city is the way it is yet Konza looks like a big joke? Don't take a 20 minute video as anything meaningful go to the ground!
@rottentomatoesreviewke7558 you're missing the point. Konza City isn't allowing any investor to take up the opportunities. They're looking for specific investors in the field of technology. It's different with Tatu City which has diversified investments.
Be patient.Soon when Investors start erecting structures you will be surprised at how fast it will move.

Kenya's futuristic city. Way better than Nairobi. They need to make the roads wider to cater for future expansions. Let's hope they don't leave room for impunity, uncontrolled developments, grabbers, vibandas, littering and corruption to spoil this beautiful city.

Huku kuna proper enforcement of the building codes so hakutakua na uncontrolled developments. Hakuna vibanda. Traffic laws are 100% adhered to. If not unapigwa penalty. This city is 100% better planned compared to Nairobi. Notice ata hakuna hanging electric lines kila mahali. Wanatumia underground cabling unless ni high voltage power lines.
Our generation will not experience this city.
I love how the surrounding areas outside the city are deserted, giving it a scenic view

@@solomonngure1237 Thinking the future doesn't mean building unfeasible things, especially when there are existing settlements that are in need of attention and also offer a considerable amount of potential. The Konza project is an easy way out sort of thing. The government doesn't want to deal with complex existing places, yet they tend to be the ones that prove worthwhile in the long run.

Nairobi was actually much better planned than this, still is. The reality is that when you accommodate many people, there’s bound to be some challenges based on the organic nature of life.
