I was 21 when I was pregnant with my first child. My partner left me and I was on my own. My parents were so angry with me and my mum wanted me to have a termination and dad wanted the baby adopted. This storyline was shown at the same time my pregnancy happened. Helped me a lot - I’m from a tiny wee village where gossips had a wonderful time with me being pregnant even though I was a grown woman with a good job.

I was 14 1/2 and Lindsay was about 11.

As someone who was slut-shamed by my mother as a preteen (by my mother!) when I was being sexually harassed at school, I find it so disturbing how it was so normalised to call a teenage girl a tart in 2000s soaps, and the way Audrey talks so proudly about how her father physically abused her and implying Sarah's parents should physically abuse her is also very disturbing to me.

LOOL people probably assume this would ruyin her life, she later ends up working some badass job in Milan.

I never liked Rosie as a character but this was one of the few scenes where her and Sally had genuine chemistry and tension. Say what you want about her as a mother but she made her breakdown here look really convincing.

I must admit. When I first read about this storyline , I thought it was going to be a child abuse storyline.

The doctor saying that it was too late to have a termination, if Sarah was as far as five months into pregnancy, is nonsense! UK law allows it until 24 weeks gestation, and five months is less than that. Such marvellous research carried out before the script was approved!

Even though this is a very long time ago but the story is still very relevant today as it was back then. The fact is that this can happen to anyone and is nothing to be ashamed of at any age. It’s not right to have social services involved in what is essentially a private matter. Ther reaction of Candice to Sarah is understandable to a point. Pressure on Sarah to name the father is not acceptable and anyone who does that to their best friend is not worthy of being called a best friend

Gail's reaction is so over the top. I mean yes it would be a shock but it is what it is and no use screaming and crying. Id blame myself more than my child.
