This house was moved to 17 E. Xenia Dr. This house, along with a couple hundred more homes and out buildings, one church, and one business, were moved south next to Fairfield Ohio after the great Dayton flood of 1913. Here's another black and white picture that I colorized and weaved into a more current picture. This is one of many pictures from my dad's Fairborn City Folders collection. I believe this was from FCF# 01.

The black and white overlay is from my fathers collection. I really like this one because it shows the path the house movers took to move the old village to it's new destination.

These are so much fun to make! The black and white aerial is cropped from a larger picture from my dad's collection. It was taken by William Preston Mayfield. Comparing the old with the new can be a lot of fun! Enjoy!

These two pictures were taken at least 100 years apart. The overlay was from my fathers collection. I colorized it then tried to line both pictures up for history's sake. Sometimes history can be fun! Enjoy!

This was the Trading Post in old Fairfield Ohio. I'm not sure of the year. Thank God the old fire house, school building, municipal building is still standing! Without that building this history would be less interesting. I hope you like my work.

There are still a couple of houses in this old Osborn picture that need to be, (captioned with a call out), but, these are most of the homes that had at least a roof (peeking) through the trees that I was able to caption. I just had to upload this video because my buddy Ryan Riffle was commenting in the background at the end of it and it just kinda fit so I left it in. Enjoy!

Another rare find from my dad, Allan Routt's, collection. This was taken in April 1950 and the original picture was black and white. I'll be colorizing this one for a long time. This view is looking east long before I-75 was built.
