For those who are having trouble with the Spore not fighting the the other infections, you need to scroll down to [TargetingTasks] and move "sculkhorde:", "fromanotherworld:" from "Mobs Not Targeted" line to "Mobs ALWAYS Targeted" line. This was more than likely a recent change done by Spore. Unfortunately, idk how to make the Sculk auto-target the spore as they only retaliate from Spore attacks.

I did a challenge with the infection mod where I do best I can with a bunch of mounds and a few hive minds around a village with my goal to protect it. I used the modular golems and medieval armor and weapons mod to help and arm the golems (I failed)

I did all the things you said, but Spore is not fighting the sculk. But sculk is fighting the spore.

a reason why sculk horde lags so much is chunk loading... can be improved via mods that limit this action...
