Old Toyotas vs The Tracks of Janowen - Full throttle madness!

But then some drunk guy had decided to hit me in a head on 😭
I ended buying this car hahahahahahha
Wish I could have kept the old darlin 💔
Awesome wheeling mate
Was a great weekend 🤘🏻
Hey Hayden. Just wondering. If I was to just do extended shackles. And not change leaf’s would it still improve ride quality and flex and give me some lift. And also would I still need to mess with driveshafts and steering components. Thanks heaps.
More then likely you would just gain height and nothing else if you were to just fit longer shackles and brake lines
20grands of Australian or American dollars?
Australian mate 🤘🏻
Good on ya cuzzie, well deserved. Its a sick luxxy. Love ya vids👍
Cheers mate!! Stoked on it 🤘🏻
Woah
It’s all happening
Me Phils_offroad
Well deserved mate 👌
Thanks mate!
did you use ai in this or is it just the filter?
TikTok done something I can’t work out how to replicate 🤣
This is so sick! Would you have interest in building my Hilux suspension? 😅
Thanks mate! I barely have the time to get to use this Ute as it is so unfortunately not 😅
Cracker vid mate. Good to see some decent Hilux wheeling
Thanks mate! So keen to dust of the cobwebs again and get out for some more 🤘🏻
Is the raptor kit better than the trd eaton kit?
When I was looking at all the kits available at the time, the Raptor kit made more power with less heat soak and for substantially less cost
@ awesome. Great video mate!
Been waiting for another video and this one didn’t disappoint 👌🏼
Thanks heaps Nick! More to come in time 🤘🏻
Bloody great video! Wouldn’t know what numbers that track was on the map by chance would you? I couldn’t find it last time
Thanks mate! I was just following along, I don’t think I’ve actually looked at the map properly for the place the times I’ve been 😅
Hahaha same here I normally just wing it, I’ve seen this track a few times but never seem to come across it 😂
Awesome video mate! would absolutely love more of these!
Glad you liked it! More of these sorts of videos are definitely on the cards 🤘🏻
As a patrol owner I know what you’re talking about. Killer watch man! Bitta tassie about these drives
Had to throw a dig in there somewhere 😅 Yeah definitely! Got a solid feeling my Ute would need spark plugs and a bit more then 3,500 redline for tassie 🤣
@ of course mate I’d expect nothing less, even I think patrol owners are flogs 😂😂 and yeah the old TD doesn’t do wheel speed either 🤣
The old TD foot cam type with no lockers in sight 🤣 Must admit though, the big kettles do make some naughty noises when on song
Awesome video Man keen to see more
Glad you liked it! 🤘🏻more to come
Great drive mate! I have a question about the last video you made "SOLID AXLE HILUX BUILD". I read the comments you sold it but myself and other subscribers wanted to know: 1- Total length of the brake lines (front and rear)? 2- Length of the custom driveshaft to make sure the shaft doesn't come out? I don't have access to a forklift or a ramp to take the measurements. Thank you!
Thanks mate! Best idea is to work out brake line lengths and tail-shaft lengths on each vehicle specifically as things can vary. I didn’t use a forklift to work this out as I just got the Ute on tall jack stands and removed the wheels to drop the diff to full droop to take measurements
@@HaydnKamp that's a great idea! thank you
Reminds me of my good old days with my ln106 Keep up with the good work
Their great Utes! All have character Thanks will do 🤘🏻
@HaydnKamp yeah 20 years on an I still have mine needs a bit of tlc but it will be the lest to leave the fleet
Janowen is a hidden gem
A lot of good tracks out there
Awesome lux’s definitely want to see more.
Gotta love the old Utes! There will be more
Sick video. Good to see you wheeling again.
Was great to get amongst it again, plan to do more of it next year 🤘🏻
Love these old Lux's... Takes me back a few years when I had my modified LN65...
Can’t beat the old leafys! Such great Utes 🤘🏻
I’m impressed with those desert spec bfg kr3, I wasn’t expecting those to give him any traction
They definitely do impressive things
Need to post another LN/RN build ep 🙏
I’ve got a few ideas 👌🏼
Need more of this on tube more the merrier
Definitely keen to make more 🤘🏻
Haha about time a good to watch wheeling video 😊 how's that hairy bloke his tyres are bald😜
Thanks man! I know another bloke I’ve wheeled with who runs slicks too 😅 🤣
Great vid mate, good to see some leafy luxs on the tube
Thanks mate! Can’t wait to get more out there 🤘🏻
Wicked vid!! Definitely have to see more of it
Glad you liked it, planing on more to come! 🤘🏻
Keen 👍
Bunch of old Utes doing their thing 🤘🏻
Where did you get the lights. I been searching for a set for my flatbed I’m building
Maxilamp 355 is the model man 🤘🏻
That's mint. 👌🏻
Thanks mate!
Yeeeeaaaah🤙 lookin tuff💪 #leafspringsdontflex😆
🤤🤤🤤🤙
Ooooft lesss goooo
Next person to tell me leaves don’t flex I’m send em this
Leaf springs do amazing things when setup right 🤘🏻
I just pulled the axles out of my 85 4Runner planing on a similar setup but with Chevy leafs for the rear.
Also, can you please share the measurements of the brake lines and driveshaft? I wan to collect the parts now to prepare for it 😁 Is it safe to assume that the new length of the long slip driveshaft will be equal to how ever much the axle is pushed forward?
Exactly what I’m in the middle of doing and i have the same questions as you let me know if you get answers before I do
This video couldn't have come in a better time! I am about to pick up my first Hilux (LN65) in Portugal and I'm trying to gather knowledge on how to best make it perform. Coming from a KZJ70, one thing I've come to realize is finding information for the LN65 is not as easy as the 70 haha. I am looking forward to see what your setup will be for the rear shocks! Any new Videos? One more question, What air lockers fit in the LN65? Would you use the RD132 for both front and rear? Am I safe to assume the front will be the same as the LN61? 10 bolt Live axle? And the rear 45mm Bearing ID? oh, and I'd love to see brake upgrade options using factory parts. Cheers mate
Tarf lux, tarf music choice 🔥
Good match 🤘🏻
What front bumper is that?
Tjm I believe
Now that you have had it for a while. Do you get any whistling from it?
The Utes so dam loud i wouldn’t hear it anyway if it did 😅
Good thing other people dont drive on the road
Good thing you can use low beam when cars are in front of you
how do you find it offroad vs stock? looks effortless really
Didn’t make a massive difference offroad as I mainly try to crawl things and never really fed it unless things where slick, and in that case wheel speed was never an issue 😅
you'd have to fill it with jerry cans every 10min, i do in mine already without the supercharger LOL
Yeah look fuel economy was definitely not a factor 😅
I need this for my hilux!
It made the Ute so much fun to drive 🤘🏻
hey mate, is that torque rod from all4x4 spares? suit a 35mm diff push? Cheers
I believe it was man, worked fine
@@HaydnKamp Thanks heaps, really appreciate it!
Where did you say you got those shackles from mate?
I got them from Shires Fabrication but they are no longer operating
@@HaydnKamp Righto thanks mate
Hey mate, could you please link Shy's(?) Fabrication in the comments? (And potentially other places you recommend/where you bought everything) Would love to follow this build but can't find them on google for love nor money. Cheers!
I believe Shires Fabrication is no more. There are a few more fabrication companies out there that can supply everything you need.
Where did you get those tail lights?!
Trailer spares direct if I remember correctly. Maxilamp 355’s
