For anyone not finding the file, try the later method he discusses. Log into the portal, select VMWare cloud foundation from the top ... then My Download from the side. I couldn't find the file int he product list, but this latter method worked.

You all understand that by turning off Windows use of the hypervisor, you are making your PC more hackable? Those features are there to stop hacking and malware spreading. If you don’t need nested virtualisation then disable it on the VM not your PC. All these videos “helping” with this are probably made by hackers. 😂😂😂😂😂

Thanks for the help. This no longer works because they have made changes. Even if it worked it seems a lot of work to download this sw now that VMW is part of Broadcom. Clearly the case if we have to watch a TH-cam video for this :-)

Looks as though Broadcom changed the directory pathway, you need to now search for: hypervisor and it will lead you to the following url: www.vmware.com/products/desktop-hypervisor/workstation-and-fusion

I was still getting the error even after applying all five of your steps. I'm on an ASUS gaming laptop ROG Strix 17 intel Core i9. What finally worked was a missing step. In Windows Features you need to also uncheck "Windows Hypervisor Platform" Just scroll down near the bottom and uncheck it. This video did help tremendously and put me on the right track to a solution. So Thank You!!!

Sir, I followed your steps carefully one by one, but still the issue doesn't resolved. I have HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch G11 A (A19FYUA#ABA) with AMD Ryzen™ 9 8945HS CPU which do support the AMD-V but still i received the error "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is Not Supported on this Platform" I tried the below for disabling the VBS & Device Guard: - bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off - dism /online /disable-feature /featurename:microsoft-hyper-v-all - Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-Hypervisor - Disable the memory integrity - Disable it using registry. - Disable Virtualization Based BIOS Protection in BIOS settings - Disable VBS via Local Group Policy - Disable Windows Hypervisor Platform - Disable Virtual Machine Platform - Disable Microsoft Defender Application Guard - Disable Hyper-V windows feature - SVM check box in BIOS settings is greyed "enabled" and cannot even be disabled. After all, above, still A hypervisor has been detected message is there in addition to "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is Not Supported on this Platform" in which the VMware ESXi or Proxmox cannot be run inside the VMware workstation 17.x. Still, I don`t try the way of "Device Guard and Credential Guard hardware readiness tool" which stated for Win 10, as am having Windows 11 and I don't know will it works or not? hello i got this error while opening mikrotik file in vmware Did not find an .ovf file at the beginning of the OVA package.

Now Workstation no longer shows up on the search. I guess I'll have to find somebody who has already downloaded it and copy it from them. All that shows up in the search when I enter "works" is Aria Operations for Networks
