I find it odd that the horizontal beams aren't resting on the upright, Shouldn't you cut the corners at 45 degrees and have them rest on the upright for more stability?

I think is a wrong assembly. The horizontal beams are fixed screws only. The bottom beam must be under the both horizontal to support the best way. And is better the upper ones to be cutted 45 degrees.

A number of these kits (mostly sold in the US) are like a tube where you fit posts. Don't you need that reinforced "tube" since there is no metal under each post (for those sitting horizontally)?

Thanks for the video. I'm looking to buy 4 of the 150mm/6" brackets for a 3x3m gazebo/shelter/canopy (i.e. something with a solid A pitched roof). They are bedding into 35mm concrete slabs laid on a thick bed of mortar. Would you still recommend M8 concrete screws or would you go with something like a wedge anchor (not sure if that's the correct name, but some expansion anchor as the bolt screws down)?

So when the courier delivers a parcel and they close it (and lock it) no other courier can use it.. unless they leave it unlocked, thereby allowing other couriers to use it, as well as anyone else the chance to nick the parcels from it. Not a good parcel box at all (just like the other one you made a video of)

So when a courier delivers the first parcel and then locks it, how the hell are other deliveries meant to be placed in it when it's locked, apart from giving couriers the pass code, and then you never EVER get the same courier delivering to your house either. Waste of time and money!

Love the look of this bbq, but…are there any legs to lift the hot bbq coal box above the ground or wooden bench to prevent burning/scorching of the grass or wood, when in use.

We've just purchased the Volcann™ Midnight Black Grande Pizza Oven & BBQ and are extremely happy with the results so far. Firstly, the people running the business are extremely professional, polite and clearly take pride in what they make. Client communication is superb as well. I spent a long time reviewing our options for an outdoor fire, bbq and pizza oven all in one and on the balance of cost versus effectiveness, we highly rate the product. You always worry about how these fires will draw but the Midnight Black Grande Pizza Oven & BBQ draws extremely well and gave off a lot of heat when using properly season wood. We tested out the pizza oven with our homemade pizza's from scratch. Purchased pizza flour and various toppings so we were quite excited. They honestly came out absolutely perfect with an authentic restaurant stoned baked pizza flavour and texture. Delicious and vastly cheaper than you local pizza restaurant. You will need to purchase your own pizza paddle but they are only circa £15 to £20. Volcann could perhaps make their own and market it with the fire/pizza oven - I did not notice one when making the purchase. I will provide feedback on the bbq once we have actually used it as I'm interested to see if the heat transfer is sufficient. Quietly confident at this stage but will most certainly report back in the near future. Extremely happy with the product so far and highly rate it at this price range.

just bought these and they are solid. use a quick grip clamp to align the two sleepers before installing the brackets. Also great for hauling the sleepers, two clamps and you can carry it easily like a squat bar.

Hi im looking to create a retaining wall from sleepers, about 1m in height. Are these strong enough to use instead of a concrete footing? Or do they need to be used in conjuction with footings?

Hi, I have sleepers each 1 meter length. So should I use these brackets to connect the ends of two adjacent sleepers ? Or should I fix in the middle of each sleeper and leave the ends to align themselves ?

So should the brackets just be used to connect sleepers? I bought those exact brackets and wickes said the should be used 200mm in from each end of the sleeper to stop stress in the middle. Im confused now. 😩

How long did you leave the concrete to go off? That brand recommends 7 days but you said you removed the shuttering a couple of days later. I don't want the base to crack when I screw in the base plates.

I’m getting ready to do this over uneven plywood floor and trying to gain as much knowledge as I can before I start. Thanks for ideas.

I have one of these, he is telling the truth. Ive been burning tree cuttings from my 1 acre garden. Not cheap but heavy good product. I did as he said cardboard waste, then dry fire wood then start with a burner. Ive been at it all afternoon burning years of wood. Anything other than a towed large chipper was useless. This solved the problem. Ive a video Ill up load. All my wood was wet, its been out for years and soaked recently. Burned the lot.
