Brilliant upload sir, thank you. It's a fantastic location, and your commentary and footage is superb as always. I spent many a good hour there as a youngster, walking to and from school through the park to St. Margaret Ward. I believe someone is trying to get planning permission to open up the old boat house as a cafe, it would be even better if they could put boats back on the lake again.

Great video, and super work with your drone. We have some fantastic parks in Stoke-on-Trent, and it's a real shame that they don't get used anywhere near what they could be doing. The cafe in their used to be brilliant, I went a few times and it was a draw to the park, especially on a warm sunny day.

Tunstall makes Hanley look like an upmarket holiday resort. Tunstall is unbelievably bad. Our council really need to sort this out, absent landlords letting these properties go to rack and ruin, so sad. The bank was Natwest. Oddly, there were two Natwest banks in Tunstall, the other being located on the other side of the town hall. HSBC was opposite that one. Theres loads of history there, and again, I was walking through here earlier today, saying how good it used to be, with the swimming baths, the cinema, and the snooker hall above the old Burtons menswear shop, great times they were. So sad to see the towns demise, again with our council doing sweet FA about it.

At a time when accomdation is in short supply, and our idiot councilliors through being shortsighted, choose to demolish flats that are ideally located for people who work in and around Hanley, it doesn't make sense. Great with the drone, I'm really impressed. It was interesting to what was going on from a really unique angle.

Great video. I walked some of these backstreets a couple of days ago, and I reminisced on how good it used to be, the shops, the pubs,the clubs, us older people truly lived through a golden age in our city, and it is really sad to be able to remember how it was, as opposed to how it is now.

You're correct in saying that it's a shame that all these facilities, banks, swimming pools, libraries etc are all left abandoned!!! Most of the local towns, had pools, cinemas and libraries etc!!!!! Now local facilities don't exist 😔. Sad! Good video, 👍.

I can't believe just how run down Hanley is, thank you for showing us the back streets. It is years since I really walked around town. So sad 😢 to see how it's deteriorated. In the 70's and 80's is was buzzing!!!! So much to see and do. Loads of night life too!!! Well done 👍✅

Left in 81 ...miss that huge blue building in the distance . I loved LHS although I didn't go to Pinewood as I'm a Sanford Hill / Dresden lass . I haven't seen or been near the colclough road part since I left ..now that was a blast from the past ...Beris Nutall eek !!! 😂.Though I didn't mind her she was quite formidable x Fond memories so thank you . And this has some cracking drone work mate . Nice one 👍

Fond memories left in 79, their was port cabins bottom fields and top fields by pool how true this is I got told pool got filled in so not sure if that's true or not. I use do cross country bk in the day good runner them fields we ran in soggy and stream. We did use in first year off LHS school colclough Rd school and lime Rd port cabins for lessons walk up down to from big LHS . Still in contact with some friends how time gone fast and the changes. To think now their be another new high school, college in its place. Thanks for sharing Shane.
