when you said gopro turn off it turned off my gopro lmao
My mom always said beauty is not about price. The existence of kislux makes me believe that true luxury is the expression of one's own style, not the price tag. Here, I found the best explanation of this sentence
🤣
Surprised you do mention getting backwards footage with helmet mount or mounted it on your ski for some third person footage.
I like those ideas! Thanks for sharing 😁🙏🏻
Would you say the ski pole is long enough to film yourself without the additional wide lens?
I did it and the answer is yes
@ awesome. I think I’ll go with this over a 360 cam.
I agree, unless your poles are super short it works well!
Hey. I've heard many people recommend the insta x4. Would you this is better? It's definitely cheaper.
I havent used the x4 but the x3 is cool. I like the simple workflow of a regular GoPro though. Looks like the hero 13 is currently on sale for $300
@ I agree with that. I also don't love the fish eye look.
The truth is, these bags were all overpriced. Now that we know they cost a fraction of the sale price and are so poorly made, itâs clear they werenât worth it. Furthermore, many of these items are knockoffs. There are a lot of knockoffs out there at kislux knockoffs of such good quality that theyâre no longer luxury items.
Interesting take… I think PD knockoffs are probably not nearly as good
I have to say, I understand why people say they don't care about people buying fakes or counterfeit goods, or why people should care. However, people don't necessarily "care" about people who own fake goods. Smart people will buy bags at kislux . In fact, people who have money to buy luxury goods and invest in them do so for a reason.
Strange way to promote your bags 🧐
and I'm waiting for Sony to make an 85 f1.2 lens.
I’m sure that would be a hit!!
I need some advice. My friend asked for help with a family portrait shoot, would the 35 be a good option or should I go with a 24 ? Thanks in advance!!
35mm is good.
I’d go 35 🤙🏻
i am encouraged to buy 35mm f1.8 as a beginnner photographer. thanks.
Right on, hope you have some fun with it!
Nah, I'll stick with WNDRD. Their CEO hasn't freely offered my information to the government, when the government didn't even ask. Not a fan of snitches, either. What an unbelievably out-of-touch move by the CEO of Peak Design.
Wndrd does make a solid bag at a good price!
Any worries about the placement of the straps, and the force it puts on the zipper?
This seems like a valid concern. I did look at this but It seems like it's gonna hold up. Time will tell....
Lumix S5ii is also great in low light as far as I know.
Interesting, I’ll have to check it out!
Would you buy from a 🐀 ?
🧐
Appreciate the review! Adventure bag looks dope!
Thanks! Glad it was helpful ✌🏻
I really wish they make a bag that takes the good parts of the outdoor series and the everyday series
Well the timing on this couldnt be worse
Didn’t see that one coming 🤪
@@TheBergreensright after their big 20% sale ended. Great video anyway. Thanks
Absolute best review. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for being real. ❤
You're welcome! Glad you liked it!
PD has abysmal customer service- one horrible experience was enough for me.
Bummer, sorry to hear that!
Thank you again for this informative perspective on the 50-55mm focal length. I'm having the debate at the moment around purchasing 35mm or a 50mm lens. I have several 35s, a 50mm m-mount and a 65mm F2 which is a really lovely lens but a bit too telephoto at time. The 24-70 f2.8 at times can be heavy especially as a walk around combo. A 50mm focal length might split the difference for me. Any thoughts?
It sounds like a 50mm could be a great fit for you! You could rent one to try it out or you could just buy and re-sell if you don't like it (relatively affordable if you buy used). Good luck!
Would be nice to know if you can offload the digital photos to a computer for printing on th kidamento
Yes, you can! Comes with a micro-sd card and you can plug that into your computer to get the files :)
What about the Sigma 90mm?
Looks like an intriguing lens! Have you tried it?
28mm is the best
Definitely a favorite!! Thx for watching ✌🏻
@@TheBergreens I''ve had the Sigma 28mm 1.8 EX, Canon 28mm 2.8 IS and I may get the Sigma Art 28mm 1.4, although it's pretty large. I've not tried the Canon 28mm 1.8 but that looks nice. I think for B&W 28mm is perfect and great for street and everyday photography. I would prefer f2, f2.8 is a bit limited but that is a very sharp lens. The alternative is to get a Canon 24mm 1.4L and crop it. Not ideal but it's a great lens. I think it pairs well with a 50mm 1.4 or 1.2 Canon lens. The Leica Q3 would be perfect with a fixed 28mm lens but I don't have £5400 I can blow on a camera. The 35mm i nice, but you need a bit of distance for that. I would say: 35mm = 1 person 28mm = 2 people 24mm = Groups
Thanks for this review, I think it is pretty helpful at least for me. I am evaluating between this backpack and the new Outdoors 45l Peak design backpack as a 1 bag traveling solution. In some way this one looks a little bit more padded for camera protection in case of hitting hard surfaces, and somehow looks also a little bit more spacious from capacity standpoint. What do you think and what would you suggest between the 2 for a 1 bag travel with only a small camera cube?
If you’ll be carrying the bag a lot on your back, the outdoor backpack is better. If it’s for planes, trains, automobiles, go for the travel backpack 😁🤙🏻
This is so timely.
Glad it was helpful!!
Review atlas packs! My picks are shimoda, atlas and now this one I’m trying out
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check out Atlas! I looked at them years ago but then they fell off my radar. Adding to the list again :)
Did you get to try whether a probe and shovel fit the Stretchy Pocket on the Back?
Hey Manuel, I did! My kit fits nicely in there :) Hope you enjoy the bag!
why does the brown color cost more than black or sage? Also, any ideas on making the straps more comfy?
it's a different fabric
Yeah, it's a new X-pac fabric. Supposed to be waterproof and more durable. I just think it looks cool though :)
@@TheBergreens personally I think the sage is the nicest...the coyote is too noisy lol
Quick question! I got one of these lens filters, but it’s a bit big for any of the lenses that I have. Is there any way it can be adapted to fit? Thank you!
Sure, just buy a step up ring for whatever the two sizes are: ex. 55-72mm step up ring or whatever fits 😊👍🏻
The bag is good. I have it. My greatest complaints are the hooks they use for the waist belt and the chest strap. Its a pain to take off and put on. Its almost always a two handed affair. Putting on and taking off the waist belt is ALWAYS two handed. Its is a real pain. They could have just used a military style clasp or a magnetic clasp if they wanted it to be low profile. But no, its gotta be that stupid hook. Oh and don't forget it is nearly impossible to tighten or loosen the waist belt when its on, due to its design. Putting it on or taking it off takes about 5 times longer than a usual fast buckle. You have to stop walking, look down, grab it with both hands and do it up or take it off. And you can't adjust its length without taking the bag off. Even then its a pain.
Great insight and I agree with this completely. Sometimes if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Classic buckle would have been better. Most of the time I don’t use the suspension so I don’t encounter this often though.
Thanks for the review by the way great video.
Glad it was helpful!!
Just purchased the model k for my niece as a Christmas present hope she likes it.
Fantastic! I’m sure she will have fun!
Thank you! This was a very coherent explaination of polarizing filters. I especially liked the cautions about what to avoid. Again, thanks!
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Could you please tell Which one is best between Sony A7r5 , r4 and Canon Eos R6 mark 2, For both low light photography as well as day time photography ?
Oh good question! I think the a7r5 is gonna be the best but I am probably biased towards Sony 🤣
4:07 chest strap is horribly uncomfortable
Interesting, I didn’t notice that. The hook is a little hard to get used to but I thought it was ok in terms of comfort. Does it press into your chest or something?
can you change/upgrade the head?
It has a bowl head so as long as the new head was compatible with the 75mm bowl then I believe you could. Hope that helps!
1:50 I was curious to find out which camera is the best for low light video, and it is STILL the A7S3, wow! After all these years, it is STILL remain the king of low light, wow!
It does very well (in comparison to others) at very high ISO values, 12800 and above. I'm hoping they release a new version next year so we'll see what that brings :)
Cheers for making this one! One question I've got that I've not been able to find the answer to is can the xs camera cube be attached to the inside of the bag using the clips in any way?
I don't think so... I think it's just too small to be used in that way. Hope that helps!
Only problem is the A7ii has 1080p video
Good point! Pretty weak in terms of a video spec but for photos only it's solid.
Agreed!! I was very undecided between A7ii and A7iii but ended up going with A7iii for $950 certified refurbished only because i wanna be able to record decent videos at times. Especially for my sister’s wedding thats coming up.
The 6,400 ISO used in this comparison vid arguably put the A7siii to a disadvantage. In real-life, I’d shoot photos using either native ISO 99% of the time and most other A7siii shooters might do the same purposely to get cleaner shots. Using A7siii as a workhorse for more than 3 years now. Test results might be more fair if native ISOs are used as the baseline.
You're right, that's an important consideration. I was wondering if the native ISO is a consideration for photo. I know it makes a big difference in video. I'm glad you're finding success with it!
I’m in Colorado too. We should do collab 💪🏻 cool video by the way.
That sounds fun Anatoly! Where are u located?
@ I’m in Aurora
@@Anatolyivashchenko Sent you a DM on instagram :)
PD’s attempt to compete with Shimoda.. sorry but it’s not even close. If you want a serious outdoor adventure photo bag, there’s only one. This dude clearly reading off a marketing sheet given to him by PD
I agree with you that the Shimoda is the standard for an adventure camera bag! If anything I’m more loyal to Ian from Shimoda than I am to PD but this bag is cool. If you have a chance to check one out it’s certainly worth a look. I still own 3 Shimoda bags and love their stuff.
Shimoda needs to shed a few pounds otherwise I’d agree
Hi, what's the height if you condense the top as much as possible including the cube? I'm looking for a bag for personal item, but regulations in EU are 40cm (15.75 inches) max. Thanks!
Yeah probably won’t work for EU. I guess the US standard isn’t as strict. Min height is 18/19 inches (45-48cm) unless you crunch the bag which isn’t really that practical/easy. Hope that helps!
@@TheBergreens Ok, thank you!
I've got a Tenba Fulton v2 10l which is 38cm in height that I love and have used as a personal item on a few of flights in Europe. Big enough for Fuji xt5 and a couple of lenses plus my tablet and a couple of other personal things.
@@andynorman5522 that looks like a solid bag and a great price too!
@@andynorman5522 Great to know, thanks!
Rokinon and Samyang are the same company. Great video.
So funny how they brand the product in two ways 🤣 Thx!!!

How's the ttartisan 35mm f1.8?
I need to check that one out! Everyone keeps talking about it!
I actually like using the 85mm for landscapes; picking up on your point that it "helps to remove clutter" in your photos, but also helps you avoid taking "what's the point" landscape views, by encouraging you to introduce foreground focal points into your composition which may otherwise be missed, if zooming between 70-200mm. As a longtime film user, I remember when even expensive wide aperture Canon FD zooms had poor definition compared with primes and in those days like today I preferred taking out a relatively light 85mm f1.8 together with a compact f2 24mm prime lens on a days hiking expedition. Great video btw!
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like you’ve got a lot of experience 🙌🏻
Why don’t you just shoot it in medium size raw it still has 26mp and is full frame, then if you really want a high res photo shoot at the full 61mp best of both worlds 👍🏻
I like that idea! Have you done it much? Any downsides to doing that? And you’re sure it’s still full frame?
These are pretty cool but I’m looking for a thermal camera designed by kids for adults.
Interesting, I’m not much help, hope you find one!
Brenda...excellent job explaining the why 35mm is such a versatile focal length and its limitations. Concise, clean and conversational/didactic is what I enjoy about your presentation style. Keep up the great and you've earned yourselves a new subscribe. Cheers!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate the subscription :)
