Hey man, I recently got into modding and discovered something. If you go over around 65,000 items, it starts saving over already existing items. Learned this from a guy whos bee modding a while. This is based on the system being only able to handle around 65,000 entries. I don't know all of the specifics, but it will load your entries instead of the original items in the game. Don't ask me why they designed it that way. I'm not complaining about your video because it helped me a lot, I'm simply saying maybe start around 45,000 or 50,000. Thanks for the video man. You earned a sub from me.

There's one mod that I want to see: Ultra hardcore 🤗 What is it? Well, it's hardcore but mana and health potions become the rarest things in the game and everything else that can heal you no longer exist. Same for the mana. The only way to be heal is by leveling up or by finding one of those rare potions...

Not sure if you still read the comments, but I was willing to create some items that would be used as let's say crafting materials, remove prefix, add prefix, remove suffix, add suffix etc, and other types of materials that could be used to craft more complex items, how hard would that be? Would you consider making a tutorial by any chance?

is it possible to change LTR to RTL text direction through modding? I'm translating the game to my native Language and LTR text direction made me a lot trouble

How do you mod in the way blizzard added? they say they added a bunch of .txt files do you have a tutorial for that? You are using a 3rd party program so that's not the way they "intended" I am just trying to figure out the differences here

Hey buddy, thanks for your videos, I'm learning a lot from them. I have a problem loading my "Save.json" script into unity. Unity reports the following error: "Can't add scrip component 'Save.json' because the scrip class cannot be found. Do you know what could be happening? I make sure I followed the instructions in the video correctly. Thank you

This is really frustrating. I can't edit the json files, but even just trying to make the other changes, I followed everything exactly and I just get an error when launching the mod

Hey it's me again! I'm currently really trying to make it so that merchants sometimes will sell unique items (at a very high gold cost), I feel the game needs some fun gold sinks. I've tried several things but nothing seems to work for me unfortunately :( First I went into armor.txt and forced the item "Cap" to turn into a Unique item by putting a "1" under the Unique column, then the merchant had the item yay! But then I realized that every "Cap" that also dropped from killing monsters always spawned either as Rare or Uniques (wich I don't want haha). So then I tried instead to copy the enire "Cap" column and paste it in all the way at the bottom to try to create a new item, I changed the "code" to something else and then went into "strings", made a new entry at the bottom and put the code and name for the item in there, booted up the game and the merchant has the item but it's like a "ghost item", the name shows up on it, but it has no graphics and when I equip it it gives no stats? How would you go about adding unique items sellable at the merchants? Do you know if there's a way to do this? Thanks a bunch for your videos man, it's what got me into D2 modding in the first place :)

Good evening! First things first. Great vids on the topic of D2R modding. I know this comment comes a tad late and I am relatively new to D2 Modding. Your vids have helped with some other issues i've come across, but now I am having an issue when i've added a new set to the game. Current issue: The set items drop as they should from the Act 1 Quill Rats, I can pick them up, when I attempt to open my inventory with any of the pieces in my inventory, the game will crash, no code or anything. Additionally,if I set the drop table to Unique/Rare at 1024 the items have drop sprites when on the ground, but when picked up into the inventory they have no model and my game does not crash. I've double checked the items.json, weapons.json, armor.json for accuracy and all is there with the correct associations. If necessary I can provide any and all files relevant to the topic. Any help would be super appreciated

Just wanted to say thanks for this tutorial, I had no previous experience at all in modding D2 but thanks to you I have modified about a third of all the Unique items in the game to my liking :) It always bugged me that there are so many items with underwhelming effects ( like a 5% chance to cast level 4 Firebolt for example, this will do nothing beyond Normal act 1) so I buffed a lot of those effects to be much more satisfying 😊

This only adds to the issue of Diablo barely having actual sprites, actual visible changes on your character. Is it that hard that a game from the 90s can't have more armor variety? Even mods don't add new armor sets, they only add images of armor. You don't actually see any of that stuff on your character and that sucks

Can you make a tutorial for making teleports to boss levels? Or warps(example i enters to the pit but instead the pit i enter to the catacombs levels 4)

Hello, I want to make new sets and uniques to get set/unique versions of items that don't have one (About 160-170 new items planned in total). Since mercenaries benefit strongly from ethereal items, I wanted to force their set items to drop ethereal all the time, like Shadow Killer or Ethereal Edge. I can't find any info on how to do this exactly. Can you help me?

Hey, and thanks for all the work you put in those video's i would really appreciate if you could make a video about editing the fonts of d2r for expample: switching all the diablo type of fonts to arial or could you maybe give me a quick answer under this comment how to do so anyway thanks for everything u did so far and gonna do in the future!

How do you play on single player after ban? I heard DRM requires you to log into bnet. So you can verify your D2R while you are banned, and therefore also loose access to bnet?

how can I increase a limit of max gold in stash?

Thank you for the cool tutorial :) I've been messing around with the weapons txt file to change the base damage of most items. But I can't get the max damage to go past 255. Is this the limit?
