Layman terms: Sharing my day with you. Today I pulled out a Nikon Nikkor 70-210 E series lens, only to discover a thin layer of hazing building up inside which would have turned into fungus/mould had I left it for any longer length of time. This happens. This is a beautiful lens that goes well with many vintage Nikon SLR film cameras. Storing these lenses properly keeps the lens functioning well.

N/A: Keep your best idea's for yourself because there is no guarantee it will last forever. This camera is sold but not to worry... I have more.

Layman terms: This is not for everyone. This is only for people that enjoy seeking opportunities to repair worthy equipment. The Nikon MN-1 is a rechargeable battery unit that will need reconditioning from time to time. The unit (shell) itself and all the contacts within are genuine vintage Nikon parts made in Japan. The MN-1 battery is for a Nikon MB-1 grip for the F2 SLR film camera. Rare.

Layman terms: I find it difficult to articulate (speaking) how I feel, what I know and how I do things. I hope to benefit from this exercise and in the process help others. I get a great feeling using equipment that has substance... Feels good in the hands as well as aesthetically pleasing to look at.

This is just a heads up/warning for those who might want to assess these very vintage rechargeable batteries. Nikon MN-1 is for the MB-1 Grip along with MD-3 drive and the Nikon F2 camera.

Layman terms: Just felt like sharing. Sometimes I can look at a camera, call it faulty without a second look. Other times I get curious as to what could be the fault. I feel knowing more about a problem today might prove to be the solution to solving a similar problem tomorrow. :)

Layman terms: It should be as simple to push the silver button/pin inwards then switch from Manual focus to Auto Focus or vice/versa. The pin should pop-up and hold the position chosen. These lenses are very old (Old but great) so it might require a bit of a jiggle to get the pin to pop-up. If that is not the case there might be a minor fault.

Listing for a friend: The camera was working but accidents will happen. The play button smacked up against one of those stone Abbey walls. The wall is fine but the camera didn't make it.

Layman terms: A quick easy to understand video to show that there is more than 1 use for the Nikon CL-46, CL-74, CL-75 & CL-76 Hard Lens-cases.

Layman terms: This Nikon EH-4 AC adapter will be listed soon. So if you really want one be the first to grab it. My Advice: This AC adapter should be used with an operational EN4 rechargeable battery installed in the camera.

Layman terms: Using a genuine Nikon EH-4 AC adapter to take a quick look at a Nikon D1X with its mirror in the locked-up position. Late at night, spur of the moment video.

Basic (L.R.): The Nikon D1, D1H & D1X has always been a very fine DSLR as well as being beautifully designed. The issue I am facing is where can I find decent EN4 batteries? Will they be reasonably priced? The Nikon Ni-MH 7.2V EN4 batteries might become a serious problem for the D1 users. Don't let this Camera be lost to time.
